The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill that will undermine democracy by disenfranchising countless citizens - especially women. At one of my town hall meetings, someone asked what we can do to fight this. Keep speaking up, make your voices heard, and share credible information.
TOWN HALL REMINDER: My Columbia County town hall meeting is TODAY. I hope you will join me.
I call on Congress and the administration to do everything possible to bring safety and stability to the region immediately. And Sec. Hegseth should resign for this tragic recklessness.
This is tragic and inexcusable. The US military used outdated information and targeted a school, killing at least 175 people, mostly young girls.
The U.S. was responsible for a strike on an Iranian elementary school, an ongoing military investigation found. The inquiry said the strike — which Iranian officials said killed at least 175 people, most of them children — was the result of a targeting mistake. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/11/u...
Thank you to everyone at Virginia Garcia for persevering through these challenging times and continuing to serve your community.
Republicans want more money for ICE, but I am working to claw back the billions in ICE funding they already got and instead invest in health care and education to actually improve the lives of Oregonians and Americans.
Leaders at the Virginia Garcia Primary Care Clinic in Hillsboro confirmed that clinics across the country are negatively affected by the Big Ugly Bill and Trump’s chaotic and harmful immigration policies. People deserve to feel safe getting the care they need. 🧵
This funding means that 450,000 Hillsboro residents will continue to have access to safe drinking water in the event of a major earthquake.
I am excited to present the City of Hillsboro with $1.092 million in community project funds to support the restoration and seismic reinforcement of their water treatment plant. 🧵
Columbia County Town Hall Meeting:
DATE: TOMORROW, 3/11/26
TIME: 6pm
LOCATION: Scappoose High School Auditorium

Thank you to everyone who came to my Washington County town hall meeting! I always appreciate connecting with constituents on the issues that matter most to them and look forward to my next town hall meeting in Columbia County. 🧵
The first in a series of March town hall meetings across the district is TOMORROW in Washington County at Glencoe High School. I hope to see you there!
Donald Trump’s war with Iran is costing nearly $1 billion a day. That taxpayer money, along with the billions of dollars that went to ICE, should be redirected to health care, education, housing, and economic development.

BREAKING NEWS: We just won a court order requiring the Trump administration to restore billions in funding for disaster mitigation projects – including in Medford, Grants Pass, and Clatsop County. #orpol #breakingnews
Her community wants her home. Her kids and her ailing husband need her home. Please share her story. Raise your voices. We won't stop until Maria is reunited with her family - where she belongs.
No family should have to experience this loss and trauma. Maria Trinidad Loya Medina is not a criminal; she is a mother who was trying to pick up socks for her son when she was surrounded by ICE agents and taken hundreds of miles away from her family. 🧵
As a community college graduate, I understand the importance of this option for people who choose higher education. Thank you to the Oregon community college faculty, students, and advocates who visited me in DC to talk about how we need to make college more affordable and accessible.
