Every House Democrat and four Republicans signed a discharge petition to force a vote on extending Affordable Care Act subsidies.

Nearly three years later, Republican leadership refuses to comply with the law and install the plaque. That’s why I’ve placed a replica of the plaque outside my D.C. office to ensure these heroes receive the recognition they deserve.

In 2022, President Biden signed a law ordering a plaque honoring the law enforcement officers who defended the Capitol on January 6th to be installed on the west front of the Capitol by March 2023.

Five years ago today, a violent mob stormed the United States Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of a free and fair election and stop the peaceful transfer of power.
