The nonsensical removal of the 15th Street bike lanes has been delayed, but is still a threat. I’ll keep fighting to protect this vital DC-area transit corridor.

Just like to note that on National Agriculture Day, steel and aluminum tariffs are harming farmers by raising costs (in addition to rising fertilizer prices from tariffs AND the current war).

Oil prices were higher on Tuesday, paring losses after falling sharply in the previous session, as energy market participants assessed developments related to the Iran war.
The uptick in prices suggests lingering skepticism over a a possible de-escalation in the Middle East conflict. cnb.cx/47USe3d
Republicans should join us to pass @delauro.house.gov's bill to fund the law-abiding parts of DHS and end this chaos.
President Trump was approached with a deal that would fund the law-abiding parts of DHS, pay TSA workers, and ensure our airports operate as normal. But he said no.
He owns the current chaos at American airports.
President Trump doesn't care about Americans being killed in the streets or havoc at the airport, He'd rather continue make life more stressful for the American people than do the work of governing.
Why is it so hard for Trump to say no to secret police?
Why is it so hard for Trump to fund the law-abiding parts of DHS and ensure TSA workers are paid?
Trump lit the Middle East on fire without consulting Congress. He continues to present us with lies, chaos, shifting objectives and escalation without an end game. The only answer from my colleagues on a supplemental to fund the war in Iran should be: Hell no.

President Trump tore up that deal anyway, failed to negotiate a new diplomatic agreement, and then decided to wage a reckless war that continues to have devastating consequences for the American people.
A straight up lie. Obama’s JCPOA halted Iran's nuclear weapons program, making America and the world safer. We argued then, correctly, that the likeliest alternative to the deal was war.

16 years ago, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law—a landmark achievement that transformed health care in America.
Today, tens of millions of Americans have peace of mind about their health because of the expanded coverage and better benefits of Obamacare.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time.

Sixteen years ago, the Affordable Care Act was signed into law— a historic victory that allowed millions of Americans to access health care.
Today, health care is under attack by Republicans. House Democrats are fighting to keep health care affordable and accessible for all Americans.

16 years ago today, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, clearing the way for millions to access affordable health care.
Democrats won’t stop fighting for health care to be a reality for all.
By 2025, the Affordable Care Act helped provide health care coverage for 45 million Americans.
Republicans have since taken a sledgehammer to the ACA to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest among us. It's wrong, but Democrats continue to fight to protect access to health care.
It's important not to shy away from candidly discussing the President's increasingly erratic behavior. His worsening instability is a clear and growing threat, not only to the American people but to the world.
Robert Mueller served our nation with integrity and a commitment to the rule of law. My deepest condolences to his family and all who knew and respected him. May he rest in peace.
This is Trump looking to create more problems rather than find a solution.
The solution here is to pass @delauro.house.gov bill to fund the law abiding parts of DHS.
Trump: "If the Radical Left Dems don’t immediately agree to let our Airports be FREE & SAFE again, I'll move our patriotic ICE Agents to Airports where they will do Security, including immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants, w/heavy emphasis on those from Somalia, who have totally destroyed MN."
With the National Cherry Blossom Festival and America 250 celebrations approaching, NPS must immediately end any effort to intentionally cut off public access to DC and the National Mall.

@eleanornorton.bsky.social, @mikethompson.house.gov, and I are demanding that NPS immediately halt any plans to remove this bike lane, which is a vital commuter route for DC-area residents.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
