Trump and Republicans cut food assistance in their Big, Ugly Law, and now they refuse to use contingency funds to feed Americans and their families. I signed a letter urging USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins to use the funds set aside to make sure Americans can put food on the table in November.
The Trump/Republican shutdown has already hurt Americans, and now over 41 million more are at risk of losing their vital food assistance.
