There’s no room for violence in our country’s politics. No one should feel in danger for their views or beliefs.
That’s why I signed onto @repmarcveasey.bsky.social & Rep. @pettersen.house.gov’s resolution that condemns the violence we’ve seen recently against elected officials & public figures.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social are fighting like hell to lower costs and reverse the health care cuts that Republicans made in their Big Ugly Law, and save YOUR health care.
I voted NO on House Republicans’ spending bill just now because the bill does nothing to solve the continuing health care crisis that Republicans created. This is a dirty bill that will continue to prevent millions of Americans from receiving the care they need.
Thank you to the Hispanic Access Foundation for your support!

RESOLUTION ALERT 🚨
My resolution to establish Latino Conservation Week spotlights the efforts of the Latino community to preserve our public spaces and reminds us of our shared duty to protect public lands and open spaces for future generations.
House Democrats step up, once again, to stop the Republican health care crisis.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social have proposed legislation that cancels the cuts to health care, lowers the costs, and saves your health care.
Legislation should work for the people, not against them.
Trump and Republicans made a promise to bring jobs back to the U.S. They’ve FAILED - we see more and more people that can’t find work.
Unemployment is a challenge for anyone, especially now with prices on the rise. Republican policies will make it even harder to get by.
ACA tax credits bring out-of-pocket costs down and make health care more affordable and accessible. Republicans’ failure to act is an assault on the health care of millions of Americans.
Republicans are doing nothing to bring down costs. Their policies and lack of action are making life more expensive for Americans.
Today we celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Our Constitution lays the foundation for our rights, freedoms, and responsibilities as citizens. Now more than ever, we must defend our Constitution and uphold the values our nation’s founders fought to protect.
Happy #ConstitutionDay! 📜🇺🇸

REMINDER: Your mornings are more expensive thanks to Trump and House Republicans.
House Republicans voted to continue Trump’s tariffs on Brazil, including a 50% tax on YOUR coffee beans. Yet another example of rising costs under a Republican-controlled Congress and White House.
Trump and Republicans are ready to let health care tax credits expire - leaving MILLIONS of Americans with higher premiums and expensive care options.
Prescription drugs, annual visits, specialty care, and everyday life will continue to cost A LOT MORE because of irresponsible Republican policy.
Will continue to support Lundquist and biomedical innovation that will support access to essential care for Americans.
Congrats to @thelundquist.bsky.social Institute at Harbor-UCLA on your new federal grant award from the FDA to improve care for people with coronary artery disease. Your work is critical to the health of so many in our #CA44 communities.
