Fraud seems to be top of mind for the President and his right-wing allies, which is interesting because just in the last year..
President pardoned a Florida health care executive convicted of defrauding Medicare to the tune of $205 million.
Wash, rinse, repeat…
Trump has already cut tens of thousands of positions at the VA, with more cuts planned. I’m very worried about the impact on patient care at the Stokes VA in Cleveland and demanding answers. Because no Ohio veteran wants fewer doctors and nurses at the VA.

Who did Trump consult when it came to attacking Venezuela and taking over the country?
Not the House.
Not the Senate.
No, instead, he talked to the oil firms who have a direct conflict of interest... This president isn't working for you. He's working for his billionaire buddies.
Saddened by the news that our colleague Congressman Doug LaMalfa passed away today.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and constituents.
January 6 is your reminder that Trump is a pro-crime President.
Trump is treating an American city like he treated Caracas. This has nothing to do with immigration policy or preventing fraud. This is an attack on Black communities.

Trump’s illegal detentions are an affront to all of us. When you ignore American laws, American judges, and the American Constitution – don’t you dare say you are putting America first.

Trump's immigration policies are immoral and CLEARLY illegal, which is why he keeps losing in court. But despite losing thousands of cases, this lawless White House won’t stop.
Last week, Republicans ended ACA tax credits that lower health care costs.
It’s a disaster for Ohio, raising health care costs for 500,000 people in our state.
This week we’re voting to restore the credits, cancel the cuts, and lower the costs.
I’ll be voting YES

Trump doesn’t care about the Constitution, doesn’t care about the law, and doesn’t care about the people.
Illegal funding freezes, illegal firings, illegal wars.
He said he would be a dictator - and that's how he's acted.
We should be very worried about what he'll do next.

Trump’s actions in Venezuela are lawless and reckless. We should all be worried. My full statement:
The American people have learned that we are now “running” another country. A decision made without a vote, without a debate in Congress, without a plan. Done by a President who *told* us he would be a dictator.
If you can’t see the stakes, then you aren’t paying attention.
This President is out of control.
He had no authority to invade Venezuela, offered no explanation for why this was necessary, and has given no strategy for what comes next.
Republicans must join us in stopping this President from dragging us into another reckless conflict.
Trump is breaking Social Security.
It's another betrayal of working people from a man who only cares about himself.

May the new year bring us a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude, so that we may take on the challenges to come with courage and determination. Happy New Year!
In 2025 Trump gave himself a tax break, slapped his name on buildings, and raised the cost of health care - with ACA tax credits expiring tonight.
Because of GOP cuts, 38,000 people in NE Ohio will see their premiums skyrocket.
It's wrong and I won't stop fighting to protect health care.
In 2025, my office returned over $12 million dollars to constituents, including helping Pearletha from Euclid with Social Security benefits. My office is delivering for NE Ohio – if you need help with Social Security, the IRS, or the VA, give us a call.
Far from Trump’s ballroom blueprints, Great Gatsby Mar-a-Lago parties, and cocktail soirees, real people are suffering because of his twisted agenda.
Cuts to health care, Head Start, and food aid – while Trump yells at the teleprompter that things are great.

Happy Kwanzaa to all those who celebrate! This holiday is a great reminder to prioritize collective care for ourselves and for our community.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
