For unto us a child is born...
Merry Christmas, Northeast Ohio! I hope that you have a Christmas full of joy with family and loved ones.
From my family to yours, Happy Holidays Northeast Ohio!
The price on the shelf needs to be the price at the register. Period.
Unfortunately, that’s not happening at Dollar General and Family Dollar – where customers are being overcharged on a massive scale.
I'm demanding answers on when this will stop.

It’s a disgusting race to the bottom. And the intent is clear – to mock, demonize, and delegitimize Black people, immigrants, and anyone who isn’t part of their backwards idea of America.
Don’t they ever get tired of being this hateful?
I guess we know the answer to that question.
Trump singled out Somalis again in his rambling speech from the White House last week and this weekend Vance called Minneapolis “Mogadishu” and said Jasmine Crockett had a fake “street girl” persona.
It’s appalling to me that Trump and Vance cannot stop with the hateful and openly racist comments, even during the holiday season, a time of peace and joy. And all too often it’s Black people who are the subject of their slurs, slanders, and “jokes.”
Trump's Epstein Files Coverup is an affront to justice and an insult to survivors.
Delays... redactions... deletions. They're trying everything.
Trump's priority is protecting himself and his powerful buddies.

Black unemployment has skyrocketed under Trump. It's now at 8.3%. The highest since the pandemic.
But guess who the Trump-appointed chair of the govt’s anti-discrimination agency is worried about? White men.
They aren’t hiding it.

Trump is striking vessels & talking about blockades and a ground war in Venezuela.
These are acts of war, & the Constitution is clear: only Congress has the power to declare war.
That’s why I just voted for 2 War Powers resolutions to rein this in before Trump drags us into another endless war.
Republicans control Washington.
They had ONE job - to come up with a GOOD health care plan. They failed. Who’s surprised?
Their sham plan…
❌ Lets ACA tax credits expire
❌ Increases insurance premiums
❌ Limits abortion access
❌ Weakens employer coverage
Get real.
I'm voting NO.
Ohio Democrats are standing together on the suspension of these funds. Read the letter w/ @repmarcykaptur.bsky.social

Today, I led a letter with all Ohio House Dems demanding answers after Trump suspended funding that supports Ohio manufacturing.
This reckless move puts our state's economy at risk. Ohioans need answers.
Breaking: Four Republicans have signed the Democratic discharge petition to force a vote to extend ACA tax credits.
Speaker Johnson – no more delays. Listen to the people.
Let the House vote TODAY.
Millions are depending on us to cancel the cuts and lower the cost of health care.
My government efficiency bill that will save tax payers $5 BILLION every year - the SAMOSA Act- is one step closer to becoming a law.
Now that it’s passed the House, it’s on it’s way to the Senate.
Trump's tariffs have been a disaster for Ohio farmers.
ohiocapitaljournal.com/2025/12/16/o...
Donald Trump and the GOP promised to lower costs.
They LIED.
Their policies have increased costs and unemployment.
They got us into this mess, but they'd rather entertain the wealthy and kick more people off their health care before they get us out of it.
My bill to lower govt software costs– the SAMOSA Act – just passed the House.
Federal agencies spend $33 BILLION/yr on software – and there are a lot of duplicative accounts.
My bill makes sure we’re paying for the software we need, not overpaying for subscriptions we don’t.
Happy Hanukkah to everyone celebrating in Northeast Ohio and around the country. This holiday season is a reminder we must all stand united against antisemitism.
May the next eight nights be filled with peace, light, and joy. Chag Sameach!
Horrified and deeply saddened by the terrorist attack in Australia. My full statement here

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
