Today, we reflect on the past 82 years since D-Day. We remember & honor the lives we lost during World War II. We will always remember their bravery and willingness to serve.
Earlier this week, Democrats and four House Republicans voted to stand up to the President and end this war in Iran. I was proud to take a stance for the American people as we work to rein in this war of choice.
Spent the morning with some of the sharpest kids around for NABTU’s Kids in the Trades day here on Capitol Hill. We talked about our favorite book — Click, Clack, Moo that says, “When you work together, you can accomplish anything.” I couldn’t agree more!
Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) has served this country for generations – but now it’s at risk of closing. I joined @ivey.house.gov and AFGE to make sure their message was heard loud and clear during today’s Ag Hearing — closing BARC is shortsighted, and we're pushing back.
Yesterday, I met with some of our community's most important workers – members of the ATU Local 1249! We talked about the importance of protecting the safety of transit workers on the job, ensuring that public transit is funded, and protecting workers' rights to organize.
4 House Republicans just voted WITH Democrats to stand up to this President and put the American people first🚨 I was proud to join them as we work to rein in this war.
BREAKING: The House has passed a War Powers Resolution aimed at reining in Donald Trump’s war in Iran in a 215-208 vote. Four Republicans broke with Trump and voted with Democrats: Thomas Massie, Warren Davidson, Tom Barrett, and Brian Fitzpatrick.
I met with the Communication Workers of America this week. Conversations that discuss issues like affordable, reliable health care are always valuable to our working families.
It was an honor meeting with the Illinois Chapter of the @alzassociation.bsky.social I'm a proud supporter of the ASAP Act, which requires Medicare to cover the blood test for early detection, and other Alzheimer research. Every conversation pushes us closer to a cure. #ENDALZ
Working families aren't asking for handouts. They're asking for good wages, affordable health care and childcare, a pension you can count on. That's not a radical idea — that's the deal this country used to keep. Let's get back to it.

We asked Rep. Nikki Budzinski whether a discharge petition could be used to force consideration of the bipartisan PREDICT Act on the House floor: "That should be on the table." ⬇️

Rep. Nikki Budzinski introduced the bipartisan PREDICT Act, legislation that would prohibit senior government officials from participating in insider prediction market trading. "We want to rebuild public trust, I think this is a step forward in that direction."
Happy #Pride! During Pride Month, we celebrate the freedom of all Americans to live authentically and openly. As a member of the @equality.house.gov, I will always fight to protect and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our town hall in Champaign last night. I always love to engage with our community and serving as your Congresswoman is the highest honor of my life!
