🚨Tonight I’m hosting a town hall in Champaign. I want to talk about what I’ve accomplished in Washington so far — and answer your questions about how I’m fighting for families across IL-13.

Small businesses are the best part of coming back home to the district. Cafe Moxo in Springfield, IL is a perfect example of exactly the kind of small business that makes IL-13 special.
Early detection saves lives. But it only works if there's a facility nearby to do the screening. Working families shouldn't have to drive an hour for preventive care. That's why accessible health care has to be part of the conversation.
Every person in federal custody deserves to be treated with dignity. I'll keep pushing ICE and CBP for real reforms and holding these facilities accountable.
Eid Mubarak! Wishing a blessed and joyous Eid al-Adha to all those celebrating in IL-13 and around the world. May this time bring peace, reflection and abundance to your homes.
The PREDICT Act bans Congress, the President, VP, senior staff and military officials from placing bets on prediction markets tied to political events. If you violate it, there are real penalties — not just a slap on the wrist.
ATTENTION IL-13!
I’m hosting a townhall in Champaign THIS FRIDAY to answer your questions and share how I’m working to uplift our communities each and everyday! Don’t miss out — today is the last day to reserve your ticket. www.eventbrite.com/e/champaign-...

ICYMI: I voted to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act — a bipartisan bill to bring real relief to working families on rent and make homeownership a reality – not a dream.
Today, I join every American in honoring the brave men and women who selflessly answered the call of duty and made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. They will never be forgotten.
I’m hosting a townhall on Friday, May 29th in Champaign, Illinois, to talk about the work I’m doing in Congress for working families across IL-13. To get your ticket, click HERE:
The PREDICT Act is simple: if you help make the laws, you shouldn't be allowed to bet on them. Proud to lead this bipartisan bill to restore fairness and bar insider trading. #PREDICTAct
Working families are getting squeezed from every direction. That's not inevitable — it's a result of the President’s unnecessary tariffs and war in Iran.
Attention IL-13!

Supporting year-round E15 means supporting lower fuel cost, rural jobs, and American-grown energy. I’m once again calling on the Senate to do what’s right for working families and for our economy.
From March 2025 to February 2026, U.S. exporters lost $14.9 billion in sales to China due to retaliation from President Trump’s tariffs. Soybeans alone account for nearly half of that. Our farmers deserve a trade policy that doesn't leave them hanging.

We had a chance to build the first Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum – to celebrate women and the contributions they’ve made to our nation.
Now, Trump and Congressional Republicans are getting in the way. Here’s how:
