Catherine Marie Cortez Masto is an American lawyer and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Nevada, a seat she has held since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, Cortez Masto served as the 32nd attorney general of Nevada from 2007 to 2015.

The White House has had months to answer a simple question: what are they doing to fix the tourism declines Trump's reckless policies have caused? Nevadans are losing their livelihoods because of the Trump Admin.'s economic mismanagement, and they don't have answers. But I won’t stop demanding them.
So many familiar faces at the @cityofreno Senior Resource Fair yesterday! I'm grateful for all of the workers and volunteers helping connect seniors with vital services. In case you missed it, don't hesitate to reach out to my office for assistance getting the support you need.
When the USPS tried to move our mail to California, I knew that would harm Nevadans who count on reliable mail service. So I stepped in with Sen. Jacky Rosen to stop them, and we won. Now, I've introduced a bipartisan bill to prevent USPS from trying again without involving our communities.
It's a simple fix, but it matters. Too many veterans were losing out on benefits until it was too late because state veterans' agencies didn't have the information to reach them. After hearing from veterans in Nevada, I passed a fix to lift that barrier.
If anyone - whether in the Trump Admin. or not - used insider knowledge to profit on the operation to capture Nicolás Maduro, we need to know.   I’m pushing for transparency, and for a plan from the @CFTC to ensure prediction markets aren’t putting our national security at risk.
Donald Trump returned to office promising to lower costs and begin America's "Golden Age." One year later, what has he actually done? He's driven up costs, imposed record tariff taxes on American families and businesses, and killed jobs across the country. We deserve better.
I'm pushing the CFTC for answers on the suspicious trades made ahead of Nicolás Maduro's capture. Any potential abuse of classified information to profit on prediction markets is a threat to our national security and the safety of our service members.
If anyone - in the Trump Administration or otherwise - is using insider information about our military operations to profit on prediction markets, that is a serious threat to our national security. That's why I'm pushing for answers and transparency now. (4/4)
