The Roadless Rule protects over 44 million acres of public forest land across this country, including some of America’s last true wilderness. I will continue to fight the Trump Admin.'s attempts to weaken the guardrails that preserve these natural treasures and protect them for future generations.
Before last Friday, the closest national cemetery for veterans in Elko was over 160 miles away in Idaho. Can you imagine having to drive over two hours, on a good day, just to visit the final resting place of your loved one?
For me, Labor Day is a reminder of the power of working families. Everything around us in Nevada, from the Strip to our highways and manufacturing centers - none if it would be here without our union workers who make it happen.
