This administration has continued to lie, bypass Congress and the American people, and act unilaterally without authorization.
The Administration must immediately brief Congress on the legal justification for the kidnapping as well as a plan to maintain regional stability.
This shortsighted and reckless attack continues to feed the President’s goal of regime change and controlling Venezuelan oil, no matter the cost.
The President has lost his mind.
There was no approval from Congress, let alone any notification. Maduro is an illegitimate leader, but what was the justification for kidnapping him and his wife?
Happy New Year, CA-31! May 2026 bring us hope, light, and peace in our communities. I hope everyone has a great time ringing in the new year. Stay safe and cheers to the new year.
As we close out the year, I am proud of all the work we have done to strengthen our district, bring our community together, and represent CA-31’s voice in Congress. From legislation to dollars brought back to the district, it was an honor to serve you and our San Gabriel Valley family in 2025.
Happy Kwanzaa! May this celebration of culture, community, and heritage inspire unity, purpose, and joy in your life. To all who celebrate in CA-31 and beyond, have a joyous Kwanzaa!
Merry Christmas, CA-31! From my family to yours, we wish you a bright and joyful Christmas filled with holiday cheer and warmth.
Trump’s heart must still be two sizes too small. He is most definitely a mean one and he’s driving up the costs for everyday Americans.
As we continue into the holiday season, American families are struggling under Trump’s higher prices. The cost of some of the most popular gifts have increased by 26% compared to last year. Trump’s reckless policies are hurting our families.
What’s going on in Venezuela? Sounds very familiar to what happened in Iraq. Made up weapons of mass destruction, oil, and regime change. The American people don’t want an another never-ending war.
This year, my office helped a constituent from Baldwin Park obtain his E-B5 green card after waiting on USCIS for 6 long years. When our community has issues or delays with federal agencies, my office is here to help.
Happy 6th birthday to the United States Space Force! Thank you to all the Space Force servicemembers and veterans who have sacrificed so much to defend our country.
@oversightdemocrats.house.gov forced a subpoena for the full release of the Epstein files back in July. Today is the deadline, and the Department of "Justice" still failed to release the full files. What are they so afraid of? Stop the coverup, release the Epstein Files today!
I am proud that many of my priorities were included in the FY26 NDAA, just signed into law. I will always fight for our servicemembers’ quality of life and to ensure our nation's security needs are being met.
Earlier this year in June, I was denied entry to conduct congressional oversight at the Adelanto ICE facility. Now, a federal court issued an order reaffirming what was already the law – that Congress has a right to oversight in these detention facilities to protect transparency & accountability.
Speaker Johnson stole healthcare from hard working Americans to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. Now this holiday season, he ignores skyrocketing premiums and refuses a vote on extending ACA tax credits. Families can’t wait around for his heart to grow, Congress needs to act now.
Who is taking bets on how many things will be named after Trump before he leaves office? thehill.com/homenews/adm...
Today, House Republicans betrayed the insitution of Congress in favor of policial points from the President. The power to declare war lies in the hands of Congress, not the President. Republicans failed to act with courage and protect necessary safeguards for military escalation.
Today, I got to see the video of the Sept. 2nd boat strike and in full transparency the Department of Defense should release the entire video to the public.
The Secretary of Defense also needs to make the EXORD available to the House Armed Services Committee as required by law.
