100 days and more than $1,000,000,000 in NIH grants canceled— grants that were set to fund vital research on Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, and more. Research already conducted has been thrown out. But sure, this is supposed to benefit our hardworking communities...
President Trump has not been laser focused on the cost-of-living crisis. He promised to fight for the working-class but instead he has handed the government over to Elon Musk and his billionaire friends.
The Trump Administration refuses to protect the civil rights of LGBTQI+ Americans. It’s time to pass the Equality Act and ensure everyone—regardless of who they are or who they love—can live free from fear and discrimination.

Starting at 10! Congresswoman @delauro.house.gov will lead a Democratic hearing to examine the consequences of the Trump Administration’s efforts to dismantle the CDC and our public health system. Dean @ashishkjha.bsky.social will join other expert testimony.
Tomorrow I am going live with @democrats-appropriations.house.gov at 10AM ET to expose the Trump Administration’s attempts to obliterate the CDC and America’s public health system. Tune in and see how their plans will leave Americans sicker and more vulnerable. www.youtube.com/live/P3ZLOrq...

Donald Trump has led an unprecedented assault on our laws to block funding for cancer research, disaster relief, infrastructure projects, & much more. On his 100th day in office, @delauro.house.gov & I are shining a spotlight on how Trump's freeze is hurting every community in America.
NEW: Just 100 days in, Trump is blocking $430+ billion in federal funding, & it is families, small businesses, & communities across America who are paying the price. We teamed up with @democrats-appropriations.house.gov to track Trump’s unprecedented funding freeze.

Today at 10 AM ET, I’ll be joining @delauro.house.gov and @democrats-appropriations.house.gov to expose how the Trump administration is trying to dismantle the Department of Health and Human Services. Watch live on my TikTok.
Trump, Musk, & RFK, Jr. have obliterated agencies that support lifesaving research, addiction treatment, & pandemic preparedness. Americans will suffer the impacts of these cuts for decades, through lost cures, overdoses, & preventable disease outbreaks. bit.ly/4iyZRPm
The high cost of living has led to food and housing instability in our communities. Our families are living in uncertainty. We must fight to lower costs for middle and working class families.
Today we honor the 1.5 million Armenians who lost their lives from 1915-1923— a horrific event in world history. On Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, I stand in solidarity with the Armenian community in Connecticut & across the world as they honor & mourn their ancestors.
On Yom HaShoah, we honor the memories of the six million innocent Jewish people murdered during the Holocaust. Today, we honor the innocent lives brutally taken and recommit ourselves to fighting back against hatred and antisemitism in all its forms.
The cost of living is crushing working families—groceries, rent, childcare... even eggs cost a fortune. This Administration can’t just sit back. It’s time to act and bring relief to the middle class & vulnerable Americans.

Housing costs are already too high – and Trump and Republicans are making it even worse. On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @repkamlagerdove.bsky.social breaks down what’s happening and how Democrats are working to lower costs.
Professionalism is what makes America’s military the envy of the world. When leaders act like they’re exempt from the rules, the whole organization is weakened. Hegseth must go.
