Eid Mubarak to all who are celebrating! I hope this holy occasion brings joy, peace, and good health to you and your loved ones.
Gas prices are up by 30%—and if Trump continues his war in Iran, families could be paying $700/year more in household expenses.
Americans want action to the cost-of-living crisis here at home, not more blood and treasure spent overseas.

I just signed onto @delauro.house.gov's discharge petition to fund the vital parts of DHS, including TSA, FEMA, and Coast Guard.
ICE already got an extra $170 BILLION in the Big Ugly Bill to terrorize communities and build more detention centers. They don’t deserve another dime of taxpayer money.

I'm a cosponsor of @delauro.house.gov's bill to fund TSA, FEMA and other vital agencies as negotiations to reform ICE go on.
So far, Republicans have blocked it.
Hardworking TSA employees deserve better. @housedemocrats.bsky.social will always support them.
Trump’s Child Tax Credit: An extra $282 a year for middle-class families.
Democrats’ Child Tax Credit: An extra $3000 a year for middle-class families.
You do the math.

I’m relieved a federal judge blocked RFK Jr.’s dangerous attempt to gut the childhood vaccine schedule—but we shouldn't have to rely on the courts to protect our children from preventable diseases.
We must stop the snake oil salesmen at HHS & reinstate qualified experts.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro is leading more than 40 Catholic Democrats in Congress in affirming Catholic values to demand justice, mercy, and dignity for immigrants—not cruelty, family separation, or dehumanization.

If Republicans know negotiations remain ongoing and if they truly cared about shutdown impacts, they’d move with Democrats to fund FEMA, TSA, cybersecurity, Secret Service & Coast Guard.
My bill does that while keeping ICE & CBP negotiations separate.
Republicans say they’ll fund TSA, FEMA, cybersecurity, and Coast Guard only if we hand ICE & CBP billions.
No reforms— just another blank check for masked agents.
I won’t let them continue to hold us hostage. Pass my bill and pay TSA, not ICE.
Last Saturday, TSA agents missed their first full paycheck. Some have had to work a second job while their pay is frozen.
I have a bill to make sure they get their pay. Republicans are blocking it.
I introduced a bill to fund all of Homeland Security except for ICE & CBP.
We could pass this bill today and fund TSA, FEMA, cybersecurity, and more.
Republicans refuse. Ask them why.

The American taxpayer has already given ICE and CBP more than enough money—and they've used it to harass, kidnap, and kill innocents.
@delauro.house.gov bill will fund ALL PARTS of DHS, including TSA, without allowing ICE and CBP to continue their exploitation.
Reposted byRosa DeLauro
This doesn’t have to be the case. Democrats introduced legislation to fund TSA and the other DHS activities the parties agree on while negotiations over ICE and CBP continue.
Republicans have blocked it.
I proudly secured $900,000 in Community Project Funding for a new cybersecurity lab at Albertus Magnus College, which will provide cutting edge tools to students.
I'll keep advocating for federal funding that responds to the needs of local communities.
Great to be out at the St. Patrick’s Day parade this weekend—so much energy, music, and community spirit. Always proud to celebrate the traditions that bring people together.
I hope everyone enjoys todays festivities and celebrates responsibly.🍀
Direct from the White House: President Trump will spend billions on his war with Iran before he lifts a finger to help Americans with the cost of living crisis.
Revolution Wind is now delivering power to CT thanks to the dedicated workers who made this project possible, despite repeated attempts by President Trump to stop it.
This project will help address the cost of living crisis by lowering energy bills for CT families & businesses.
Happy Women’s History Month! I am so grateful to the trailblazing women whose courage continues to empower us to fight for equality & progress, even as we face rollbacks of our most fundamental rights.
I will never stop championing the rights of women & girls in Congress!
Today marks 5 years since 8 innocent lives were stolen in the Atlanta spa shootings. Our hearts remain with the victims’ families & community still healing.
I stand with our AANHPI communities to stop Asian hate & will continue fighting in Congress to end gun violence.
