I just voted YES to release all Epstein files. After months of intimidation and misinformation, once Trump realized that finally a number of House GOP would no longer protect him, he suddenly granted permission for all of them to vote for release.

To borrow from Mark Twain, the reports of my death, politically, are greatly exaggerated. A U.S. court order means I have a renewed opportunity to continue serving the only town I've ever called home. While this decision, led by a Trump-appointed judge, will be appealed, I am hopeful of the outcome.
Calling one of his most devoted MAGA followers, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a “traitor” & a “lunatic" – after attacking his own supporters who demanded the release of the Epstein files – Trump shows again that he's loyal to nobody but himself. He demands 100% adherence to every horrible action.
Trump’s unqualified FEMA director, who was unreachable during the July 4 Central Texas floods, is finally resigning.
FEMA’s outrageously delayed response during the disaster weakened critical search-and-rescue operations.
After trying to bury the Epstein files & attacking his supporters over it, Trump now flips & tells GOP to vote tomorrow for release. So phony! He should personally meet with the victims who are in DC tomorrow. If Trump wants the files released, all he needs do is tell Pam Bondi to release them NOW.
For 8 months, Abbott denied Houstonians representation in Congress by delaying a special election date after Sylvester Turner's passing.
His betrayal continues, now refusing to set a runoff date. Whether on rising healthcare premium costs or releasing the Epstein files, Texans deserve a voice.
Like so much of Trump’s actions, his historically low refugee admissions policy is a betrayal of our nation’s founding values. To welcome only 7,500 refugees—mostly white Afrikaners— abandons the thousands fleeing war and oppression to privilege "whites only" who support his far-right agenda.
But just like the vacant promise of $5000 checks based on phantom DOGE savings, don’t hold your breath waiting for a refund. Raising costs for American families and Big Ugly Bill tax cuts for billionaires shows who Trump is working for, and it is not you.
Eager to get his name on checks to voters, now he’s saying he might rebate some of this revenue, not to those who paid the tax, but to everyone.
Trump’s steep tariff taxes are spiking costs for American families on everything from groceries to baby supplies.
Throughout ensuing decades, on one good cause after another, he has undertaken challenging voting rights, redistricting, and minority representation cases. My condolences to his children who continue to make their own contributions and who so recently lost Cecile.
On the passing of David Richards, an outstanding leader for social justice — Fresh out of law school, on my first job assisting a US District Judge, I quickly identified Dave as the most effective advocate appearing in our court.
Sudan has become the world’s largest humanitarian crisis with over two years of ethnic killings, rape, and mass displacement. Weapons supplied by the UAE and other outside forces sustain atrocities as the Trump Administration does nothing.
After months of doing all he could to block a House discharge petition to release all Epstein records, Trump failed at the same time new emails surfaced of Epstein referencing Trump. The Master of Distraction is at it again – pointing his fingers at others while refusing to look in the mirror.
The UK, our closest ally, stopped sharing intelligence with the Trump Administration about suspected drug boats in the Caribbean because it didn't want to be complicit in their violations of international law.
Trump is killing people without due process while undermining the fight against drugs.
Unfortunately, this joke is on all of us – the money’s not there, his One Big Ugly Bill added $5 trillion to the deficit, and yet American families are still stuck paying $1,800 more per year in higher prices thanks to Trump’s tariff taxes.
Despite previous failed promises to bring prices down drastically and $5,000 DOGE checks from trillions in savings that never materialized, Trump now wants Americans to believe that checks paid for with his tariff taxes are still on their way.
Under the Trump regime: pardons and rewards for friends; revenge for opponents and often for public servants just doing their jobs.
Troubling that these same Senators did not recuse themselves from voting for a bill in which they had a direct monetary interest.
