Sen. DURBIN: This is our first meeting since Trump fired Pam Bondi. She did more damage to the Justice Department’s reputation than any Attorney General in history. She transformed it into a weaponized political battleground. Courts and grand juries blocked her baseless prosecutions.
When discussing a bill that would tackle housing affordability, Trump reportedly said, “no one gives a [bleep] about housing,” insisting Republicans focus on his voter disenfranchisement bill, the SAVE America Act, instead.
This Admin would rather undermine democracy than lower costs for families.
