A few months ago, President Trump said he would cut drug prices by over 1000%, but now he’s doubling them through reckless tariffs. So which is it?

4️⃣ days until a federal government shutdown.
Without extending ACA tax credits this fall, next year 150,000 Pennsylvanians could be priced out of their health insurance coverage.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social want to protect health care for hard-working Americans. Why don’t congressional Republicans?
This week, I joined @repsummerlee.bsky.social and the PA Democratic delegation in calling on the EPA to preserve critical climate protections.
This latest move by the Trump administration only leaves our communities more vulnerable to climate change's increasingly damaging health & economic impact.
A daily reminder that Republicans control the White House, House, and Senate.
A federal government shutdown will be a manufactured crisis of the GOP’s own doing. Period.
✅For Trump ally in Argentina: $20 BILLION bailout
🤦🏿♂️For you: higher prices on coffee, beef, bananas & more - AND a 70% spike in health care costs due to Trump and congressional GOP inaction
What ever happened to putting “America first”?
5️⃣ days until a federal government shutdown. Because of Republican inaction, in #PA03, a 60-year-old couple making $82,800 a year could see their health insurance costs increase by $11,485 a year- a $183% increase!
Find out how this GOP price spike could impact you here:
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are ready to negotiate a bipartisan deal to lower costs and keep the government open. Why won't the GOP come to the table?
If Trump and congressional Republicans refuse to extend ACA tax credits, 29,000 people in #PA03 will see their health care costs skyrocket. And insurers are setting rates NOW.
Americans can't pay for a 70% spike in their health insurance prices with these imaginary savings.
Time for Trump & House Republicans to get serious about preventing that cost spike. Democrats have BEEN ready!
6️⃣ days to a government shutdown.
Did House Republicans leave DC to protect Trump from having the Epstein files released? Once she’s sworn in, Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will be the last signature needed to force a vote on releasing the files.
This is what George W. Bush used to call "the soft bigotry of low expectations."
Meanwhile, thanks to Trump and House Republicans’ inaction, millions could face a 70% hike to their health insurance prices.
As we face a cost-of-living crisis, Americans deserve better than this.
While the president is out of touch in his gold-filled office, in reality it’s hard-working Americans paying the price of his disastrous economic policies.
7️⃣ days until a federal government shutdown.
And instead of preventing a huge cost hike for 24 million Americans' health care - House Republicans left town and President Trump just called off his meeting with congressional Democrats.
I’m wishing everyone who will be celebrating Rosh Hashanah in Philadelphia and beyond a healthy, happy, sweet new year. Shanah Tovah!
Raising the retirement age is just another way to cut benefits – especially for blue-collar workers. And last week the Trump administration said it's being considered!
Our workers have earned the right to retire with dignity & security- but this administration is trying to drag us backwards.
Smaller package of ☕️coffee or other grocery items - but same or higher⬆️ price? Thank Trump’s tariff taxes – and congressional Republicans who refuse to take back Congress’ tariff power. #Trumpflation

NEW -- Trump promised to make groceries cheaper. He promised to make electricity cheaper.
But because of his trade war against the world, inflation is now running HIGHER than Biden's final year in office.
So sure it's a "Golden Age" -- if you love higher prices.

It’s time for Trump to address the Republican healthcare crisis.
And avoid a painful government shutdown.
In Trump’s #ReverseRobinHood Budget, nearly HALF its tax breaks go directly to the top 10% of earners. By contrast, 94% of the Affordable Care Act’s credits go to families making under $200k.
GOP priorities are clear- and protecting your health care isn’t one of them.
