During my visit to North Haverhill, I saw first-hand that the Grafton County Nursing Home is a lifeline & community of people from North Country & beyond. I came away from conversations with residents & providers more determined than ever in my work to lower your costs & save your healthcare.
Republicans shut down our government to protect billionaire tax cuts paid for by the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history. I’m fighting to protect your healthcare. And I’m ready to work with anyone on a solution that protects your healthcare, lowers your costs, and opens our government.
Healthcare is about caring for people — not generating corporate profits. NH’s non-profit healthcare providers, like the team I met at Southern NH Medical Center, are on the frontlines of delivering critical care. Reversing the cuts and saving your healthcare are key to the future of their work.
I am fighting with everything I’ve got to protect and strengthen the healthcare our communities rely on and the people who we rely on to deliver that care. I spent the afternoon with the extraordinary team at Nashua Division of Public Health & Community Services.
The women and men of America’s public shipyards are mission-critical for our national security. That’s why I am leading a bipartisan coalition of members to ensure our public shipyard workforce gets paid, even when Congress fails to do its job.
People across New Hampshire are feeling the pain of sky-high costs — from food costs to healthcare costs & beyond. Republican cuts & the Republican shutdown are jacking up painful costs & fueling senseless chaos. The NH Food Bank is a lifeline for our state. I am proud to work alongside them.
16 hours into this Republican government shutdown. I’m ready to work with anyone on a solution that would reopen our government, protect healthcare across NH, lower sky-high costs, and restore to Congress the constitutional responsibilities that Trump has lawlessly ripped away. Let’s get it done.
This Republican shutdown was completely avoidable. I voted for a budget that would keep the government open, protect your healthcare, and lower your costs. I’m here at the Capitol, ready to work together to find a solution. But my Republican colleagues are nowhere to be found.
We are just 4 hours away from a preventable and senseless Republican government shutdown. Republicans continue to refuse to negotiate in good faith and do their jobs. Hardworking Granite Staters will pay that price. My door is open, let's get this done.
If Republicans continue refusing to do their jobs, NH families and federal public servants will pay the price. My door is always open for good faith negotiations, but I’m taking every step to protect NH servicemembers, military families, and federal workers if the government shuts down at 12:01 AM.
