Some say Mt. Washington Observatory is home of the world’s worst weather—I say it’s NH's highest treasure and America’s Observatory. Thankful to the dedicated people who are working their hearts out every day to share NH’s beauty with America and to make our world a safe place to call home.
Housing is a cornerstone of the American Dream. It is also healthcare. But the Trump Administration is ripping away that dream. In Nashua, I met with public servants and providers working to deliver both. I’m grateful every day to be working alongside them and fighting for them in Congress.
The Trump Administration’s move to delay the development of high-speed broadband in New Hampshire is hurting our economy and keeping rural communities disconnected. I’m fighting to deliver every penny of federal funding promised to New Hampshire.
NH is home to the most beautiful land in America, and outdoor recreation is core to our way of life. On the summit of Mt. Washington, we had a wide-ranging conversation about how we can work together to make the most of NH’s natural beauty to strengthen our economy and way of life.
I was on the summit of Mt. Washington this morning with the patriotic public servants of NH Fish & Game. This team is a national treasure—they connect us to our epic outdoor life & keep us safe. Proud to work for & alongside these public servants, including two four-legged officers, Moxie & Cora. 🇺🇸🙏
Having a home is a cornerstone of the American Dream – but for far too many, sky-high costs are keeping home ownership out of reach. That has lasting impacts on our communities and our economy. One of my top priorities in Congress is making housing more affordable for hardworking Granite Staters.
I sat down with local banks to talk about how we can support them in lending to and investing in small businesses. We dug into the successes they’ve seen, the red tape they face in accessing funding and benefits from the SBA, and how I can be a partner in Congress to ensure small businesses thrive.
This is beyond horrifying—it's sickening. My heart breaks for the 8 & 10 year old who were murdered in this attack. My prayers are with the 17 people injured. My thanks are with the first responders who responded to this tragedy. Gun violence is the #1 killer of kids. It's time to act to save lives.
The dedicated people behind our family resource centers should be celebrated and supported for their work. But GOP cuts are making their jobs harder and the lives of the people they serve worse. Our conversation is why I will never stop fighting to protect the programs that Granite Staters rely on.
The GOP’s Big, Brutal Budget made the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history. Hardworking families across New Hampshire are paying the price and bearing the burdens of these cuts, including the amazing people I met yesterday in Antrim at the Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center.
For far too long, the rules of the road for farmers have been written for the big players in our agricultural industry. We need rules that work for family farms here across New Hampshire. That’s what I’m fighting for in Congress.
105 years ago today, the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution became law and American women got the right to vote at long last. Today, the fight to protect that fundamental right is real and I’m never giving up. (Looking at you, Pete Hegseth.)
