WH Bagshaw Company remains forever young because of the energy, resilience, and creativity this team brings to their work and our community every day. In an uncertain and challenging time, I'm proud to fight for small businesses like WH Bagshaw in Congress and on the Committee on Small Business.
Small businesses are the heart of NH’s economy, and that was on full display this morning in Hudson as WH Bagshaw Company cut the ribbon on a new 55,600-square-foot facility. This sixth-generation family-owned small business was America’s first pin manufacturer and traces its roots back 155 years.
There are good reasons why the United States Constitution gives Congress an important role to play in questions of war and peace. I am fighting to make sure that Congress is playing that role and keeping our troops and the American people safe.
Under the United States Constitution, Congress plays a critical role in questions of war and peace. I’ll never stop working to ensure we execute our constitutional responsibility, protect the 40,000 U.S. forces serving in the Middle East today, and keep the American people safe.
It’s past time that NH joined the rest of the continental United States and established a full-service VA medical center for our veterans. That’s why I raised this issue directly with the House Committee on Appropriations and why I’m fighting for legislation we introduced this week to get it done.
I can do my job and represent the people of New Hampshire best when I hear directly from you. Tomorrow at 10:30 AM, I hope you’ll tune in to watch my “Conversation with the Community” on WMUR, where I answer your questions directly.
We owe a sacred obligation to the Granite Staters who served our country in uniform. It’s my mission to ensure they have the healthcare they need. NH is the only state in the continental U.S. without a full-service VA hospital. The Veterans Full-Service Care & Access Act is key to changing that.
Happy 102nd Bike Week, New Hampshire! 🏍️🇺🇸 Beautiful afternoon at the Weirs with my Uncle Nick Tamposi, Rep. St Clair, & dear friend Kenny Lapine. Loved being with riders & friends from across NH & beyond. Grateful to everyone who is making this great American event possible. Have fun & ride safe!
It was an honor to begin Juneteenth at the rededication ceremony of the African Burying Ground Memorial Park. Juneteenth marks the end of America’s original sin of slavery and the beginning of the work that we can never stop doing together: making the promise of America real for every American.
Today in Hanover, I met with some incredible small business owners & employees & heard about the challenges they're facing, from President Trump’s chaotic trade wars to every front of our affordability crisis. Proud to bring their voices & priorities to Congress on the Committee on Small Business.
Fantastic visit yesterday in Cornish at the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park. This treasure is America’s National Park for the Arts. I saw first-hand how right Ken Burns was to say that America’s national parks are rooted in an idea as American as the Declaration of Independence.
Valley Regional Hospital is a critical access hospital that is essential to connecting people across Sullivan County with lifesaving care. I met with the extraordinary team at VRH & heard first-hand about the devastating impact GOP Medicaid cuts would have on their work & the people they serve.
Hardworking people across NH are struggling to access childcare. I’m using every tool I have to expand access to affordable care. I visited Ready Set Grow Childcare in Claremont for a wide-ranging discussion on how we can work together to tackle challenges & seize opportunities to deliver progress.
Awesome afternoon with the students and staff who make the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua such an incredible community. Proud to be fighting for and working alongside Boys and Girls Clubs across NH that are changing lives and inspiring the next generation of leaders across our state every day.
