We talked about the bipartisan BIOTech Caucus, which I founded this year with my colleague Rep. Stephanie Bice. Our Caucus is working to support legislation to bolster our competitiveness, spur job growth and help address pressing global issues.
I joined fellow veterans Senator Todd Young and John Crowley from I Am BioTech during the With Honor panel on the importance of U.S. leadership in biotechnology.
PA Dems are in D.C. working to protect healthcare for all Americans. Wish we could say the same for our Republican colleagues. We are here and ready to talk!

This case will have immediate implications as we look toward the future of election integrity and representation in this country.
Today, the Supreme Court hears arguments about a case that has the potential to gut the Voting Rights Act. A ruling in Louisiana's favor would allow it and other states to gerrymander minority voters into majority-white districts, diluting their votes and costing them their voice in Congress.
Republican leaders aren't worried about your bottom line, they're worried about getting in President Trump's good graces.
The voter registration deadline for PA municipal elections is October 20! Even if you have previously voted, make sure you check your registration status. You can find a link to the PA Dept. of State at the link in my bio.
"President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported goods have caused uncertainty, forcing companies to pull back from expansion plans and confusing supply chains. No labor-force growth this year has also hurt the economy."

Republicans are pretending that they don't own this shutdown. But we can negotiate right now and reopen the government. Protect the ACA credits, restore funding to Medicare and Medicaid and stop the nonsense.
If House Republicans work across the aisle to improve this bill, they could fix this. I hope they’ll stop playing political games with families’ livelihoods before it's too late.
20,000 people in Chester and Berks Counties will lose their insurance because of the Republican budget. Now they’ve offered a spending bill that would force many of my constituents to pay more than $3,000 extra for the same coverage.
It was a pleasure to spend time talking with the students while I was on campus. I have real hope for the future! Congratulations Lions!

I am thrilled that Lincoln University – the first degree-granting HBCU in the country – has received a $2 million grant from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. This grant will strengthen research, innovation, and student success across programs at Lincoln.
Why would we willingly sign on to a deal that harms Americans? What assurances do we have that the executive branch will hold up its end of the bargain? Everyone – Republicans and Democrats – should be outraged at this administration's overreach.
No matter your politics, the deployment of the National Guard against our own citizens is cause for alarm. It's more than unconstitutional, it's unconscionable.
Our Commander in Chief looked 800 of our most decorated generals and admirals in the eye and told them to use the cities they swore to defend as "training grounds" for war.
Not only did Republicans add more than $3 trillion to the national debt with their budget bill, their government shutdown could cost the American people between $7–$15 billion each week.

You read that correctly: nearly 400,000 Pennsylvanians will face higher health insurance bills if Republicans keep the government shut down. Democrats are waiting with a simple ask: extend the ACA subsidies and protect the health care of all Americans.
As the party in power, Republicans can easily end all of this by passing a budget that protects health care and lowers costs for families.
I’m ready when they are.
