Suicide prevention isn’t just about helping in moments of crisis — it’s about recognizing warning signs, promoting treatment and recovery, and building robust support networks. There is no reason too big or too small to reach out and ask for support.
We pledge never to forget the heroic actions of the first responders, the selflessness of everyday Americans during the attack and the days that followed, and the thousands of innocent lives lost.
Today I stand shoulder to shoulder with my fellow Americans as we honor those tragically lost on that September morning.
