Our country needs leadership that unites, not divides.
With over $82M in trade between our nations last year, these policies could have a major impact on Gambia’s economy. I look forward to continuing our dialogue and exploring ways to strengthen cooperation between our countries.

I proudly joined @repdeliaramirez, @RepChuyGarcia, @CongressmanRaja, and many of my colleagues in standing up to @POTUS. The Constitution is clear...our streets are not battlegrounds. As Franklin warned: those who trade freedom for security deserve neither! #NoTroopsOnOurStreets
Congratulations to @nadler.house.gov on his retirement after more than 32 years. From leading historic impeachment efforts to championing voting rights, women’s equality, your impact will be felt for generations. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to justice and democracy
Today, we stand in solidarity with those still fighting for fair wages, safe workplaces, and the fundamental right to organize. Let us honor the legacy of those who came before us by continuing the fight for justice for all.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the tireless work and invaluable contributions of the American people who built this nation. As we honor their achievements, we are reminded that the fight for workers’ rights is far from over.

Today marks 62 years since the March on Washington, where people from across the country gathered to demand civil and economic rights for Black Americans.
While progress has been made, systemic inequality and voter suppression persist, and our fight for justice continues.
