Tens of millions of Americans, including about 4 million Texans, are standing on the edge of a health care premium cliff.
Without the health care tax credits, the average annual premium for these Texas families will more than double.
Senate Democrats are fighting to stop that.

Gutting health care coverage then destroying people's credit when they can't pay their medical bills... that's a choice.
I went to the Senate floor to make the case for the resolution I lead with Senator Kaine to overturn the punishing Canadian tariffs.
No way to treat an ally 🇨🇦 and no way to treat the American people. It passed the Senate! The House needs to come back and act.
Trump’s tariffs are a nearly $2,000 tax on American families. The Senate is taking action by repealing his corrupt tariffs on Brazil, and we will vote to stop his tariffs on Canada next.
The House needs to return to work and reverse these tariff taxes and actually lower costs.

New data confirms what American families already know: Trump’s tariffs are contributing to record high prices for everyday essentials.
President Trump should stop starting trade wars that hurt American consumers.

You are reading that right. Some Wisconsinites could pay $30,000 more next year for the exact same health insurance.
My Republican colleagues still have a chance to stop this – the time to act is now.
Early detection of breast cancer has a strong influence on five-year survival rates: cases detected early have a nearly 99% chance of survival.

NEWS: The Senate voted to stand up to Trump and end his corrupt tariffs on Brazil. These tariffs are driving up prices for American families in order to support his political allies.
I voted yes to lower costs and uphold the rule of law.
It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Without health care, Americans won’t get the screenings they need to detect cancer early and get the care they need.
We should be extending the health care tax credits—not letting premiums double for tens of millions of Americans.

First the administration cut food assistance for Americans in need.
Now they’re refusing to use emergency funds for food assistance—even though their now-deleted shutdown plan said they could.
They have the funding to keep families from going hungry. There’s no excuse.
A couple in their 60s in Hibbing could see their monthly premiums increase from about $200 to $475. That’s an increase of more than $3,000 a year!
With prices already rising, that means families will have to choose between paying for essentials or health care.
In northern MN, some people will see their health insurance premiums double if Congressional Republicans refuse to act.
In Bemidji, a family of four could see their monthly premiums increase more than 140% — from less than $200 to more than $470.
Let’s be clear: the administration is choosing not to tap emergency funds available to provide critical food assistance for families in need.
Their own shutdown plan — which they recently deleted — confirmed they could. Read it for yourself:
One thing that will be especially spooky this Halloween?
Candy prices 👻
They’re up more than 10% since last year as tariffs increase the cost of everything from chocolate to packaging.

With Trump overseas and the Republican House on vacation, here’s how Republicans’ health insurance sticker shock is landing in RI: this family of 3 would see their monthly premium spike $547.
Time for Rs to get serious about fixing this.

Families are fighting to afford groceries and gas. Inflation’s up, energy costs are through the roof. Donald Trump’s biggest concern? Knocking down the White House’s historic east wing to build a ballroom for himself.
Incredible story about the bravery and quick thinking of first responders and dispatchers that saved lives at Annunciation. We are deeply grateful for their heroic actions.

Americans are already feeling squeezed by high costs—and Trump’s tariff taxes are just making it worse.
Prices are rising at the grocery store, when shopping for clothing, and for appliances and furniture.
We should be lowering costs, not raising them with reckless policies.
Trump promised to lower costs “on Day One.” Well, more than 270 days in, inflation is rising.
Prices are up for groceries, electricity, rent and more—with health care premiums set to double for millions of Americans if the President and Congressional Republicans refuse to act.
