Like so many of you, I’m holding my breath and hoping for the quick recovery of the second crew member and for the security of the rescue effort. One thing we can all agree on is the safety of our service members.
BREAKING: One of two crew members of a U.S. fighter jet that was shot down over Iran was located and rescued by U.S. special forces and the search for the second is ongoing, sources tell Axios.
We must be prepared for disasters BEFORE they happen. That’s why I fought to reinstate funding for the BRIC program.   Let's continue to make sure states can take proactive steps to protect our communities from fires, floods, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.
It was an honor to speak about this talent and innovation at the NJ Chamber of Commerce’s ReNew Business Summit and reiterate my support for making New Jersey *the* place businesses want to be. 2/2
This week, I got to travel around my home state and meet with bright young minds, as well as see how NJ companies like Thorlabs are pioneers in their field. 1/2
The Attorney General needs to be on the side of the law, not abusing their position to protect and serve Donald Trump. This was a needed change but the damage done cannot be overstated - we must have a Justice Department that shows independence, not blind loyalty.
BREAKING: Pam Bondi, a loyalist who oversaw Justice Department upheaval, is out as his attorney general, President Trump says.
Blocked once again by Speaker Johnson, who cares more about his own job than working for the American people. Everyone wants to see this bipartisan deal to fund critical agencies like FEMA and TSA passed. It’s ridiculous that he’s still standing in the way.
Breaking News: The House took no action on the Senate’s bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security. The record agency shutdown will continue through at least Monday.
This bill not only strengthens our export controls regime but reinforces using diplomacy to safeguard these technologies and America’s competitive edge in innovation. 2/2
Today, I introduced the MATCH Act with Senator Ricketts to level the global playing field for U.S. tech and keep the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment out of the hands of China and other adversaries. 1/2
For more than a month now, the American people have been paying for a war that Donald Trump chose to bring us into. It has been an absolute disaster. He keeps telling us the war is about to end, but those are just lies. Trump needs to end this. 1/2
It's about time. Noem's harmful $100K approval policy should never have existed - it delayed support when communities needed it most.

Rescinding this policy is an important step, but we must continue to ensure you have all the support you need when disaster strikes.
EXCLUSIVE: DHS scraps Kristi Noem's policy requiring the Homeland Security secretary to review all contracts and grants above $100,000.
I’m grateful to these kinds of organizations that do tireless work to help families meet their basic needs and get on their feet. We must do everything we can to support them. 2/2
There’s no time to waste when it comes to addressing the housing crisis in this country. My visit to Atlantic City Rescue Mission in New Jersey is proof of this. 1/2
We must continue to support all of NJ’s students, from financial aid support to workforce training to healthcare costs, so every one of them is set up for success. 2/2
Yesterday, I met with students at Atlantic Cape Community College’s AC campus to learn about their education journey and hopes for the future. Many of the students I spoke with juggle competing responsibilities to work, school, and family. 1/2
This week, I met with healthcare professionals, care recipients, and caregivers of AtlantiCare’s PACE program. It was great to see how this nursing home alternative can support seniors who wish to stay at home, while giving their caregivers more freedom and support.
Happy Care Workers Recognition Month! #CareCantWait and neither can we. I am so thankful to the care workers who look after our loved ones every day. They deserve the same dignity and decency that they provide. @domesticworkers.bsky.social
