Keeping communities safe means transparency, coordination with local law enforcement, and holding those accountable for their grave mistakes. We need a full, independent investigation into what happened. (3/3)
This tragedy was entirely preventable. Sending masked agents into our communities without adequate training, emboldened by an Administration that refuses to hold them accountable, is a recipe for a tragedy like this. (2/3)
The White House is covering up the Epstein Files to protect the powerful and well-connected. They would rather break the law to protect their friends than deliver justice for victims. It’s disgusting.
The insurrection was an attack on democracy itself and the peaceful transfer of power. I remain grateful for the heroic officers who protected the Capitol. We remember the five police officers who lost their lives and honor the more than 140 who were injured as they defended our democracy.
Five years ago, a deadly assault was waged on the U.S. Capitol, Congress, and our country. That day, I took down the flags in front of my office so that if the mob of insurrectionists came down the hallway, they might not know I was hiding inside.
I’m heartbroken by the tragic news of Rep. Doug LaMalfa’s passing. Doug and I served together on the House Natural Resources Committee, where he was a dedicated advocate for his district. I’m sending my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and staff during this incredibly difficult time.
My bipartisan Small Business Child Care Investment Act will help make child care more affordable and help child care providers grow their businesses, hire more employees, and invest back into their local economies. (3/3)
❌ However, the Trump Administration is now taking funds away from these proven programs that communities across the country rely on. 📝 I’m calling on the Administration to preserve existing Continuum of Care programs to keep Nevadans housed. (2/2) lasvegassun.com/news/2026/ja...
🏠 With homelessness in Nevada at its highest level since the Great Recession and a significant housing shortage throughout the state, Nevadans rely on Continuum of Care programs to help them transition into permanent housing. (1/2)
🚨Families across this country are seeing their health care costs more than double without the ACA Tax Credit. These skyrocketing costs will force many to go without health coverage entirely.
