I’m heartbroken by the senseless act of violence at the Grand Sierra Resort this morning. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families, the Grand Sierra staff, and the Reno community. We must do more to prevent tragedies like this.

We must continue to press to bring parties back to the table to negotiate a cease fire and, in the meantime, aid must be allowed into Gaza. We have the means, we must also have the will. (3/3)
The starvation of innocent children is unbearable to watch. In addition to providing aid to Israel, the U.S. must be resolute in ensuring that food and medical supplies gets to people in need. (2/3)
I have been a staunch supporter of Israel since the barbaric invasion and hostage taking by Hamas on October 7, 2023. I have also staunchly supported the provision of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza. 🧵 (1/3)
IVF gave me my family, and we have a bipartisan bill right now that would protect IVF for millions of families just like mine nationwide. But anti-choice extremists here in Congress won’t let us vote on it.
We need to pass the Access to Family Building Act now.
That’s not government efficiency– these are kids and teachers they’re playing political games with, leaving them scrambling weeks before the start of the school year.
I’m glad to see the OMB is releasing the remaining $5 billion in education funding that had been frozen. At the same time, it should have never been frozen in the first place.

House Republicans are bringing their clown show to Las Vegas to convince Nevadans that their Big Bullshit Bill is a good deal for us.
Don’t be fooled.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Let Congress vote to release the damn Epstein files!
Took a bike ride through Nevada’s gorgeous public lands to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month 🤩
Thank you to Las Vegas Chamber for having me for Eggs & Issues! Our economic diversity is a huge strength for us, and Las Vegas Chamber is leading and will continue to lead the way.
On this day in 1968, 1,000 athletes from the U.S. and Canada competed in the first-ever Special Olympics.
Today, it serves more than 5 million athletes, coaches, and volunteers around the world. I will always be there to cheer them on!
We know how expensive childcare is in Nevada.
The Administration’s pause on grants that fund after-school programs for 12,000 Nevada children and professional development for our already under-supported teachers will do nothing to bring down costs for working families ⬇️
The withheld grants fund after-school programs for 12,000 Nevada children and professional development for our already under-supported teachers. Nevada is set up for rocky times ahead because of this Administration, and this is only just beginning.
Today, I stood with After-School All-Stars to sound the alarm on the Administration pausing $60 million in federal funding for Nevada schools. The Administration is trying to take money away from our students and working families so Trump can give tax cuts to billionaires.
🚨TONIGHT: I will be holding a virtual townhall with Governor @martinomalley.bsky.social and Nikki McKinney from @democracyforward.org to answer your questions about Social Security and standing up for democracy!

I’m all for reducing government waste but House Republicans' math doesn't add up…
Last night, they voted to claw back $1 billion in funds for public broadcasting just two weeks after adding TRILLIONS to the national debt for billionaire tax breaks.
For 30 years, After School All Stars has served Nevada children in 40 schools. This is key programming that keeps kids safe and engaged after school. Nevada is set up for rocky times ahead because of this Administration and it is just beginning.
