This should be a bigger story.

To expose the utter hypocrisy of my Republican colleagues giving Donald Trump a free pass on everything he does, I’m starting a new series called “Can You Imagine if Obama Had Done This?”
Starting with this:
Trump suing his own IRS for TEN BILLION DOLLARS.
If Obama had done anything approaching this, Republicans would be calling for investigation, impeachment, indictment, and probably worse.
With Trump, they can’t be bothered to notice.

Please stop scrolling for a minute and read this story. Children should never be treated this way. This is not about a policy disagreement. It is a complete moral failure.
A decent country protects children, period.
What in the hell is wrong with these people?

It was an honor to take the oath last night, surrounded by friends, family, and my wonderful wife Chrissy, as my name was officially placed on the ballot for re-election. Serving our community in Congress is the privilege of a lifetime.

Howard Lutnick claimed he never spent time with Jeffrey Epstein.
But under oath, he acknowledged traveling to Epstein’s private island, years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Lutnick’s name appears in more than 250 Epstein-related documents released by the Justice Department.
Accountability cannot depend on your title or your proximity to power.
Howard Lutnick should resign.

Trump and Republicans are pouring billions of your tax dollars into ICE raids and crackdowns, while gutting Medicaid and SNAP. Families are getting crushed by rent, groceries, and prescriptions.
They chose fear and cruelty while working people are paying the price.

Rev. Jesse Jackson devoted his life to expanding freedom, challenging injustice, and giving voice to those too often left unheard.
He marched with Dr. King, helped shape the modern civil rights movement, and never stopped believing in the promise of this country.
The best way to honor his life is to remember his example and continue the work of building a country that lives up to its promise of justice and equality for all.
Losing him during Black History Month is especially poignant.
This is a time to reflect, not just on the past but on the people like him who helped move America closer to its ideals in our lifetimes.

That chaos doesn’t make us safer—it weakens the rule of law.
Under Stephen Miller’s influence, we’ve seen cruelty toward children, people detained in warehouse-like conditions, and disregard for judicial warrants and due process.
