In February, Steve Bannon said on his podcast, “You’re damn right we’re going to have ICE surround the polls come November.” Yesterday, the President announced he wants an “Election Integrity Army” in every state this November. It is worth asking why anyone would want armed agents at the polls.

So rather than earn your vote, they are working to keep you from casting it.

For 16 months, one party has held the White House, the Senate, the House, and a Supreme Court majority.

Why Congress Is Struggling to Do the Bare Minimum

The current session is marked by record-long government shutdowns, lawmakers sidelined on the Iran war and a wave of pending departures.

He stood by while Trump bypassed Congress on tariffs and while a war with Iran was launched without a War Powers vote. The first branch of government, on his watch reduced to a rubber stamp. This is the most frustrating time I have ever served in Congress.

A real Speaker defends the institution. Johnson surrenders it.

Votes are routinely held open for hours on end because Johnson cannot count his own Republican votes. Under his gavel, the House delivered the longest full government shutdown ever recorded, followed by the longest partial shutdown ever recorded.

This is your reminder that Trump and Republicans are spending billions of your tax dollars on an unauthorized war in Iran and Stephen Miller’s ICE agenda while gutting Medicaid, slashing SNAP, and driving up your health care costs.

I will continue to demand a vote under the War Powers Act, as I have since the day this war began.

Republicans and Democrats alike took an oath to the Constitution, not to any president. The American people deserve the truth about what is being done in their name, what it is costing in lives and dollars, and how it ends.

The President told the country Tuesday that Iran's missiles are down to 18 or 19 percent. The CIA's own analysis says the real number is closer to 70. That is not a small gap.

A separate Post investigation found Iranian strikes have damaged or destroyed at least 228 structures and pieces of equipment at U.S. military sites across the Middle East, far more than the administration has publicly admitted.
