Prescription drug costs are too high, especially for seniors on fixed incomes.
Today, we introduced our bipartisan Saving Seniors Money on Prescriptions Act with Representative Harshbarger to hold PBMs accountable, lower out-of-pocket costs, and save seniors millions.

It’s been 2 years since the East Palestine train derailment.
We will again support the RAIL Act, a bipartisan bill to provide comprehensive 21st-century railway safety regulations. This bill should have passed last Congress.
We owe it to the community of East Palestine.

Republicans in Congress will have reliable partners with us, but they have the power to bring legislation to the floor.
It’s time for them to step up and assure the American people that our democracy is still intact; that our elected officials will protect the American people.
Trump’s trade wars alone will cost the American people and American businesses significantly. Life is about to get even more expensive for folks.
The data breach and Musk and his team having access to our data and every federal account puts everyone at risk - Republicans, Democrats, Independents.
The courts may be able to intervene, but only the Republican Congress can stop this - or at least put guardrails back in place.
They have the power.
But the power to put an end to this lies with those who run Congress.
Most in Republican leadership and most rank-and-file Republican members know this is wrong and unlawful.
I have to believe that.
Democrats can call this out, and talk about how bad this is for the people and communities we serve; How bad it is for the country we love; How bad it is for the world and our national security.
It’s very clear who has to fix this.
Congress is controlled by Republicans and they have a constitutional obligation to step up and put these fires out.
Our founders wrote the Constitution for moments like this…but it requires Republicans in charge of Congress to act.
The Constitution separated powers, with Congress to serve as a check on the Presidency and Executive Branch.
Trump and billionaire donors have set fire to our government.
They’re going after public workers, perpetuated the largest data breach in our history, launching trade wars, halting federal funding…
There is a fix 👇🏼🧵

Or as James Baldwin said:
“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced”
Schools are trying to figure out if they can even teach Black history. That Trump & too many Rs are going to take their money if they do.
Let’s start Black History Month letting that sink in.
If there are 2 genders, will they declare there is 1 race? Or have they already? 🤷🏼♂️
