I don’t want a war in Venezuela, and I won’t stand by as this administration drags this country into yet another endless war. I’m using every tool I have to stop Trump’s insane escalation in Venezuela.
The GOP economic platform:
Struggling to pay for food? Relax.
Can’t make next month’s rent? Relax.
Going without health insurance because it’s too expensive? Relax.
Don't worry, Republicans have the solution to your economic problems: just relax!
Straight out of the the fascist playbook: dehumanizing human beings, using disgusting words like “garbage” to demonize immigrants.
More proof that tariffs are bad for American consumers, and they’re bad for business too.
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
I’m partnering with Rep. Massie & @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social to introduce a War Powers Resolution that will force a vote in Congress to block Trump’s insane escalations against Venezuela.
No one except Trump wants this war—so I’m going to use every tool I have to stop him.
Every year on December 3rd, I take a moment to remember & honor the #Worcester6 firefighters—heroes who we tragically lost in 1999.
I am forever grateful to Worcester Fire Department and all first responders who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe.
We need to talk about the fact that we still DON’T KNOW who Trump murdered.
The survivors of the first strike were killed in cold blood as they hung on for their lives—and the administration won’t reveal their identities. They could be victims of human trafficking for all we know.
How quickly we forget the BS excuses Republicans make up for military invasions. Does anyone remember weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?!?!
It’s almost always about oil. Another GOP president wants to use U.S. soldiers as pawns for big oil in his sick pursuit for money & power.

Thanks @mikethompson.house.gov (D-CA) for signing H.Res.317 and for speaking out against the dangers of nuclear weapons.
This is the type of leadership we need now more than ever.
Our local Davis BftB hub--and all of us--are honored to work with you to make our communities safer.
Trump calls human beings “vermin,” “garbage,” “diseases,” “poison,” and “animals.”
Then, when I rightfully point out that the same dehumanizing language has been used by fascist regimes to justify humanity’s worst atrocities—Republicans lose their minds.
Give me a break.
“Affordability” might not mean anything to billionaire grifters like Trump, but it sure means a lot to the American People. He should try actually talking to working folks for once in his life.
Trump pardoned the ex-president of Honduras who shoveled hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. He pardoned the founder of a black market who imported fentanyl from China.
These men poisoned America & killed millions. Whatever Trump’s illegal boat strikes are about, it sure isn’t drugs.
Pete "Kill Them All" Hegseth's strikes are illegal.
Even by his own logic, if the strikes *are* against enemy combatants, then he committed a war crime by killing them after they'd been shipwrecked.
Either way, he should resign & face accountability.
Because of Republican inaction, millions of Americans are going to see their health insurance skyrocket. Millions more will probably just go without healthcare.
So what are Republicans doing about it? NOT A DAMN THING!
Speaker Johnson won’t stop whining about his workload—he’s obviously in over his head.
If being Trump’s puppet is too much work, just leave!
He whines about the workload.
Says he’s “not really” Speaker of the House.
Is obviously in over his head.
Mike Johnson is not up for the job. He’s a puppet who gave away his gavel to Trump and exists solely to rubber stamp this administration’s authoritarianism & cruelty.
Thanksgiving dinner has never been more expensive. Thanks to Trump’s terrible tariffs, disastrous economic policies & cuts to food assistance programs, hunger in America will get worse. I stand with leaders like @mindydomb.bsky.social & @jocomerford.bsky.social as we keep fighting to #EndHungerNow.
I’m horrified to learn of the horrific shooting in Washington, DC one day before Thanksgiving. My thoughts are with the victims' loved ones, and I'll be keeping them in my prayers.
My wife Lisa spent Friday at El Buen Samaritano with her treasured friend Mari Gonzalez and her team as they assembled & distributed boxes of food for neighbors and families. The need has never been greater - nor has the sense of community.
An average family of four now pays over $1,000 each month for groceries. But Trump’s “main priority” is building his ballroom.
He doesn’t care about whether you have to put something back on the shelf after checking the price tag.
