Kids who’ve grown up in the U.S. are AMERICAN. For many Dreamers, this is the only country they’ve ever known. That’s why I signed @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social's letter condemning @DHS for illegally detaining DACA recipients. They deserve to be treated with dignity & given a fair shot to succeed.
The Trump administration is QUIETLY KILLING DACA. Immigrant youth are our teachers, neighbors, farmworkers, and parents. They contribute billions to our economy. We will not stay silent as this administration dismantles DACA. #ProtectDACA
Yesterday, six people were killed in a terror attack in East Jerusalem. I strongly condemn this horrific act of violence. Targeting civilians is always abhorrent and always wrong. I send my deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
Israel’s airstrike in Doha brazenly violates Qatari sovereignty & international law. Netanyahu clearly has no interest in peace. We shouldn’t send another cent of military aid for his reckless war. Our priority should be a ceasefire, hostages released & a surge of aid into Gaza.
So let me get this straight…20 years ago, Democrats forged Trump’s signature on a creepy birthday card to a pedophile...planted it in Epstein’s estate before Trump even ran…and then waited to release it until *after* Trump got reelected? Got it.
Leavitt: "The president has one of the most famous signatures in the world, and he has for many many years ... the president did not write that letter. He did not sign those documents. He maintains that position and that position will be argued in court."
People of many faiths agree—we have a moral duty to care for the most vulnerable. Today, I hosted the Interfaith Working Group on Foreign Assistance to discuss how I’m fighting Trump's cruel cuts to global food aid. Too many are afraid to speak out. It’s up to us to lead the charge.
The Supreme Court just ruled that ICE can LEGALLY terrorize citizens for being…Latino. This is racial profiling plain & simple. No one should be scared to go to the grocery store or pick up their kids from school because of their race.
Every single Republican on the Rules Committee once again voted to BURY THE EPSTEIN FILES. Why do they continue to protect pedophiles? Instead of draining the swamp, MAGA is pumping it with more shit by defending the wealthy elites they promised to depose. The coverup continues.
This is a big deal. A bipartisan majority on the Rules Committee just moved to demand a standalone vote on repealing the 2002 and 1991 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMFs) as a part of this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
Congress should be helping Americans at home, not spending a trillion dollars on bombs & blank checks to defense contractors. That’s why I will not support this National Defense Authorization Act. It’s time we start feeding the People, not the Pentagon.
The American People aren’t fooled—Trump’s tariffs are a disaster. He can lie and say the economy is “hot,” but when folks are in the checkout line at the store, they see the truth.
Who the hell asked for this? Oh right—the ultra rich CEOs that Trump’s Transportation Secretary used to represent. Every chance they get, these guys side with the billionaires over the people.
The Department of Transportation is killing a proposed Biden administration rule that would have required airlines to provide cash refunds to passengers whose flights were significantly disrupted—handing airlines a huge victory.
I’ll always stand up for our LGBTQ community—and stand in the way of anyone who threatens their rights & dignity. Loved supporting the talented artists & performers at Pride Worcester’s Festival. I’ll continue fighting to ensure our community is welcoming to everyone.
🚨CAUGHT ON CAMERA 🚨 A top official just ADMITTED there is a MASSIVE, ongoing Epstein Files cover up at Trump’s @DOJ. Says they’ll “redact every Republican” from the files and that Ghislane Maxwell was offered something to “keep her mouth shut.” RELEASE THE FILES!
Americans don’t trust Washington—and why should they? Too many members abuse their office for personal profit. That’s why I’m backing the Restore Trust in Congress Act to ban Congressional stock trading. My colleagues must choose: serve the public or serve themselves.
Trump's tariffs are crushing working people: for the first time since the pandemic, unemployed Americans now outnumber job openings. He’s running the economy into the ground—just like his failed businesses.
