These are real messages sent by a Trump nominee. Absolutely vile. These are the types of people that Trump is trying to elevate to hold real positions of power. He is doing everything he can to move this country backwards. Oh and by the way, this man is STILL employed at DHS.
Darth Vader is not the good guy in the series, by the way.
Trump: "We have Darth Vader. You know Darth Vader, right? Darth Vader is a man who is sitting -- is that Darth? Stand up please. Does everybody know -- they call him Darth Vader, I call him a fine man. But he's cutting Democrat priorities and they're never gonna get them back."
Monthly health care premiums doubling—or more—may not be "gut-wrenching" to Senators like Ron Johnson. But to most Americans, payments that used to be $772/month becoming $2,400/month is a BIG DEAL.
Ron Johnson: "I don't think this is going to be any kind of gut-wrenching problem if these enhanced subsidies just go away. We'll probably have the weather the lies told by the Democrats. Democrats say all sorts of things that are untrue."
Good. Donald Trump should not be dictating what colleges teach. And not a single university needs to cave to Trump's intimidation tactics. This is an important example for other institutions to follow. There is power in standing up together against Trump's power grab.
Republicans control the majority in Congress right now. No matter your political party, the idea that DOJ is outright lying or misleading federal judges should be a five-alarm fire for my colleagues. When will they act?
“We found over 35 cases in which the judges have specifically said what the government is providing…false information. It might be intentionally false information, including false sworn declarations time and again," says Ryan Goodman, law professor at New York University.
Tariffs making everything more expensive, Republicans shutting down the government, health care premiums set to skyrocket, demolishing the rule of law, a hateful mass deportation agenda. This picture really sums up the last 9 months of the Trump presidency.
I just voted NO on the Republican funding bill. Just like the last ten (10!!) times we voted on this exact same bill, it includes absolutely NOTHING to save health care tax credits that millions of Americans rely on.
So it's too expensive to extend health care tax credits that millions of families rely on but not too expensive to spend $200 million on private jets for Kristi Noem? These corrupt grifters are robbing taxpayers blind.
Trump sharing that obscene video was totally disgusting. Any regular person could say as much. It's genuinely pathetic to see elected leaders like Speaker Johnson twisting themselves into pretzels to put on a show for the President like this.
Q: What does it say that president released a video of him pooping on the American people? MIKE JOHNSON: You can argue he's probably the most effective person who has ever used social media. He's using satire to make a point. He's not calling for the murder of his political opponents.
🚨WASHINGTON STATE🚨 Window shopping for 2026 Washington Healthplanfinder opens TOMORROW OCT. 21. If you log in tomorrow and see that your plan has doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled—speak out. Republicans need to face the crisis they created and work with us to solve it.
My advice for Republican leaders: stop taking your marching orders from billionaires like Trump, and start listening to the people back home who are about to see their premiums double–or worse.    They are begging you to take action.
A WA state family told me they are about to see their health care premiums increase from $772 a month to nearly $2,400! That is absolutely absurd. While Republicans keep sitting on their hands, Democrats will keep fighting for your health care.
Republican leaders need to stop hiding from their constituents, from the health care crisis they’re causing, and from the negotiating table.    The clock is not just ticking—the alarm is going off. We need to act now, before these premium hikes become unavoidable.
THANK YOU to all of the patriots who made their voices heard peacefully across Washington state. 🦅🇺🇸 This is what democracy looks like! We use our voices and our votes. NO KINGS IN AMERICA! ❌👑 📸 @seattletimes.com
WA state's health care enrollment window shopping starts this Tuesday, October 21st. Republicans need to come to the table and negotiate with Democrats NOW. There is no "later."
Republicans can't find a single minute to work with Democrats to keep health care costs from skyrocketing–but don't worry, they had plenty of time this summer to shovel tax breaks to billionaires.
