After passing a bill to add $4 trillion to the national debt, Republicans can never call themselves “deficit hawks” again.

BREAKING: House Republicans just passed their Big Ugly Bill to rip away health care and food stamps from millions to fund billionaire tax cuts.
Republicans ignored every warning about how terrible this bill really is—but Americans will make themselves heard at the ballot box.
Proud of my friend Leader Jeffries for his powerful, record-breaking speech against Republicans' Big Ugly Bill that takes health care and food away from struggling families to fund tax breaks for billionaires.
He’s right: America is better than this. We will press on and keep fighting.
One part of Republicans' Big Ugly Bill that hasn't gotten enough attention?
It DEFUNDS Planned Parenthood—a big step toward the GOP's plan for a Backdoor Nationwide Abortion Ban where women won't be able to get care anywhere.
NOW is the time to speak up against this heinous bill.
Republicans' Big Ugly Bill is about one thing: taking away programs that give American families a HAND UP in hard times, to pay for a HAND OUT for the richest people on the planet.
It's immoral and wrong.
House Members must vote NO.
Do you have Medicaid? Medicare? Employer-sponsored coverage?
Under Trump's Big Ugly bill, it hardly matters what insurance you’re on when you don’t have a hospital to get care anymore!
And when 17 million Americans lose health care, premiums skyrocket for EVERYONE.
lf Trump truly doesn’t understand that this bill cuts Medicaid, we need to be asking who’s really pulling the strings here.
To the Republicans voting for Trump's Big Ugly bill, pretending that adding trillions to the debt to cut taxes for billionaires is free...
Don't forget to explain how, at the same time, you're saying we can't afford to keep hospitals open or make sure kids have health care.
Reminder: Republicans blocked my amendment to strip out their provision to defund Planned Parenthood.
Their policy to DEFUND Planned Parenthood IS included in the Big Ugly bill.
So, what now? We MUST kill this bill in the House. Fight like hell. Speak up. Make yourself heard.
BREAKING: Senate Republicans just rammed through Trump’s massively unpopular Big Ugly bill after 26+ straight hours of debate.
It’s not over yet, the House MUST reject this bill. Now is the time to speak up and get loud.
NO CUTS TO MEDICAID. KILL THIS BILL!
I just voted NO on Trump’s Big Ugly bill and against the largest health care cuts in history.
No Senator should support this disaster of a bill.
Americans are not asking to kick millions off their health care and blow up the national debt so that billionaires get a tax break.
Every Senator should stand up for their state.
But fighting for your constituents does NOT mean getting a special carve out for YOUR state while actively HARMING the REST of the country.
We are the UNITED States of America.
SENATORS, VOTE NO!
If a bill is so bad that you have to exempt entire states from its consequences to win the votes you need—just don't pass the bill!
Why do people in Washington state deserve Medicaid & SNAP cuts, but others don't?
This is plain wrong, and it's just no way to legislate.
It’s past 6am and we’ve been debating Trump’s Big Ugly bill for 21+ hours now.
You should know Republicans are STILL changing this bill.
If it passes, almost certainly none of them will have read it in its entirety or have a full understanding of what it actually does.
Absurd.
It’s past midnight and Republicans still don’t even know what the final version of their Big Ugly bill will look like.
Kicking millions off health care, blowing up the national debt by trillions, and devastating generational economic harms—all being written into law on the fly.

Murray: This bill polls like garbage because it is garbage. That's why it should go nowhere except a trash bin
I'm on the Senate floor right now debating Trump's Big Ugly bill, and I really worry Americans do not fully realize just how bad it is.
Please help get the word out.
This is just SOME of what's in the bill (so far).
Republicans BLOCKED my amendment to strip out their provision to DEFUND Planned Parenthood.
This is a backdoor national abortion ban—it's sick and it's wrong.
We have to speak up against this anti-choice extremism. America believes in a woman's right to choose. KILL THIS BILL!
I just forced a vote to try to strip out Republicans' defund Planned Parenthood provision from their Big Ugly bill.
Republicans voted NO. They voted to shutter some 200 health clinics and deny women basic health care like cancer screenings & birth control.
KILL THE BILL!
🚨The GOP provision to DEFUND Planned Parenthood is staying in the Big Ugly bill. Clinics will shutter. Women will lose access to cancer screenings, birth control, and basic care.
I will be forcing a vote to try to strip it out.
Fight like hell. We need to kill this bill.
