🚨🚨PSA🚨🚨 Todd Blanche, Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Justice, confirms he's an anti-abortion extremist by committing to carry out Republicans' fever dream of a nationwide ban on medication abortion. I'll be voting NO. Spread the word. Speak out. Fight back.
Today, House Republicans are falling over themselves to pass bills to officially "abolish" the Department of Education and destroy public education in America. Nobody wants this. So let me be crystal clear: under NO circumstances will I let these bills pass the Senate.
The parasite causing explosive diarrhea makes clear that functional public health infrastructure matters. But Trump's latest CDC nominee didn't KNOW Trump made monitoring this parasite optional and STILL wouldn't give me a firm commitment she'd make it mandatory again. Absurd.
Trump is condoning ICE shooting innocent people in the streets and telling federal agents to keep it up. Republicans are acting like this is totally normal. It's NOT. We need accountability in the law to stop the chaos Republicans enabled with their $70 billion ICE giveaway.
The 2020 election was not rigged. Everybody with an ounce of common sense recognizes that. But Trump is using the force of government to promote this lie again. So it is on every one of us to use our voices and our votes to reject Trump's delusional conspiracy theories.
Ossoff: "We understand the president may be threatening to declare sitting senators illegitimate. If that's the course of action he pursues, he's calling GA voters illegitimate...he was humiliated as a committed lifelong racist that it was Black voters in Georgia who were instrumental in his defeat"
We will not let Todd Blanche dismiss or ignore Epstein survivors. In May, he told us he would meet with survivors whose private info was released by the Justice Department. That meeting still isn't scheduled. @vanhollen.senate.gov and I are demanding answers.
BREAKING: the House just passed my bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent! Leader Thune should bring this bill to a vote in the Senate so we can finally get this done. More sunshine. Less depression. Let's finally lock the clock!
Another man was killed by ICE. Just days since the last fatal shooting by this agency. I pushed constantly to give Republicans every opportunity to enact common-sense reforms on ICE—the same basic standards our local police follow. Republicans BLOCKED every single reform.
Trump is endorsing a forever war in the Middle East. He is setting billions of your taxpayer dollars on fire over a war America doesn't support, and Americans are literally also paying the price at the pump. And Republicans are voting to let this war go on forever.
Trump: "We're gonna keep the strait, and we'll probably run it. We'll become the guardian of the strait. We should be reimbursed for that. When we do that, we're gonna be reimbursed. We're gonna get paid."
Trump wants to turn the federal budget into one big slush fund to reward his allies and punish everyone else.   A cancer research grant in a state where someone personally offended Trump? Terminated.    This would be devastating for communities & is downright unacceptable.
Trump's so-called “reorganization” of the Forest Service is an attack on America’s public lands.   I spoke with folks in Everett about what these cuts would mean for WA state's wildfire preparedness & prevention.
We know that ICE lies—because they lie constantly. I am DEMANDING that ICE release all of the footage related to Lorenzo Salgado Araujo's killing. There needs to be an independent investigation immediately.
A man with NO criminal history was shot and killed by ICE. As far as I'm concerned, Trump's DHS Secretary should get hauled in front of Congress to answer for every shooting. We need a Congressional majority that will push for real answers and accountability. This cannot stand.
Millions of Americans have lost health care coverage and food assistance while Trump profits off the American Presidency. The most corrupt President in American history enabled by a cowardly Republican Congress. It's time for change.
What a total failure of leadership. Gas prices are surging again and apparently the peace deal is in tatters and our servicemembers are still in harm's way to fight a war the American people do NOT support. Every Republican who voted to continue this war owns this failure.
Q: Is the ceasefire over? Is the MOU dead? TRUMP: I think it's over. I don't want to deal with them anymore. They're scum. Do you know what scum is? They're led by sick people. They're vicious, violent people. They're liars. They're cuckoo
