$19 billion! Nearly $150 per U.S. household. That’s how much more we’re paying at the pump since Trump’s War in Iran began 5 weeks ago.
We can’t afford Trump’s War. This week I will join my Democratic colleagues as we seek a vote to cease hostilities in Iran immediately.
Sexual assault, domestic abuse, and harassment allegations must always be taken seriously. Victims who step forward to share these stories show great courage.
The allegations against Rep. Swalwell, Rep. Gonzales, and Rep. Mills are deeply disturbing. All three must resign or be expelled.
Severe weather is expected today by the National Weather Service. Starting at 3 P.M., residents across the Twin Cities and beyond should be prepared for strong thunderstorms, very large hail, and strong winds. Make a plan to be safe, especially if you are traveling!
Saint Paul: Spring cleaning is coming to a street near you! The City of Saint Paul starts its spring street sweeping on Monday. “No Parking” signs will be up 24-48 hours before a residential street is cleaned. More info on parking maps & more ⬇️
My office is hosting a U.S. Service Academy information night on Tuesday, April 14th at Mounds View High School from 6:30-8:30 PM. Minnesotans interested in learning about opportunities at the U.S. Service Academies are welcome to attend!
Flying internationally? Remember to check your destination’s entry requirements, including passport date and visa requirements. Many countries require your passport to be valid for 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Construction season is here. Northbound Hwy 280 will close on April 13 between I-94 & Hwy 36/I-35W. Southbound lanes will close on April 29. Both directions will be closed through late August. More info on construction and detours ⬇️
Congressman Engel was a champion for human rights, humanitarian development and diplomacy around the world, and a dear colleague. He will be missed. My condolences are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
It’s wonderful to see the return of International Festival of Minnesota in Saint Paul! It’s a clear example of how we embrace the humanity in each other and reject division and violence – just as we did during Operation Metro Surge.
We are One Minnesota!
Welcome home to the crew of Artemis II 🚀
After their historic eight-day mission to the Moon and back, I’m glad the crew has splashed down safely in the Pacific Ocean.
President Trump’s words and actions should make all Americans deeply concerned about his state of mind. The Cabinet and Congress must take notice.
I support @raskin.house.gov call for the White House physician to conduct a comprehensive cognitive evaluation and release the results.
Reminder: Portions of I-94 Eastbound will close at 10 PM today through Monday at 5:00 AM between Hwy 280 and I-35E. For detours and more information on the project visit the link below.
The Trump administration needs to work to ensure that Israel abides by the ceasefire. Israel must stop its attacks on Lebanon immediately.
On the brink of fire season, President Trump is uprooting the Forest Service and kneecapping its workforce. Here in Minnesota, a world-renowned facility known for its research on forestry and climate change will soon be shut. This is a massive mistake.
Reminder: Tomorrow at 5:00 PM is the last chance to submit an entry for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition. Students’ artwork will be displayed in the Atrium Gallery at the Schmidt's Artist Lofts as a part of the 2026 Spring Saint Paul Art Crawl! 🖼️🌸
Small businesses are doing a great job of serving our community despite the challenges they've faced from tariffs and Operation Metro Surge. I had a fabulous morning yesterday visiting several of them on Selby Avenue. I can't wait to visit again soon!
Americans are paying for President Trump's illegal war of choice in Iran. We’ve lost 13 U.S. service members, fuel prices are skyrocketing, and our economy is weakened.
Republicans must choose: Do they stand with Trump's costly and reckless war, or with Americans who overwhelmingly oppose it?
Today, I joined @mayorher.bsky.social to tour the Rivoli Drive project in Saint Paul as part of National Community Development Week. This exciting project will bring more affordable home to Rivoli Drive thanks to the work of Dayton’s Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services.
The cyberattack on Winona County is a reminder that we need to stay vigilant against constantly evolving cyber threats in both the private and public sectors. I’m thankful that Governor Walz has authorized the Minnesota National Guard to assist.
It appears that President Trump has pulled back his outrageous threats and is seeking a temporary ceasefire with Iran.
This is good news, but his inflammatory language needs to stop now. Stay tuned.
