Enjoyed joining the Armenian community at Armenian Fest RI!
Fantastic food, music, and dancing at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church. This event was a wonderful celebration of culture and community. 🇦🇲
I joined the annual “Reason to Run” event in Johnston today to support brain cancer research.
Life saving medical research must be protected and expanded.
I am proud to have secured $350,000 for the Cranston Police Department to upgrade their vehicles that support the K-9 unit that helps with search-and-rescue and comforting victims of violent crimes.
Honored to support Cranston’s four-legged officers! 🐾
House Republicans have been on vacation for 50 days.
The government is shut down and health care costs are exploding.
Cancel the vacation, and let's get back to Washington. We have work to do.
We all saw this coming.
Criminals are posing as ICE agents to prey on innocent people. This is the result of ICE wearing masks and using inappropriate violent tactics.
Along with my Homeland Dems colleagues, I will investigate these crimes and the Trump Admin policies that have enabled them.
Congratulations to CCRI’s new President, Dr. Rosemary Costigan!
I am excited to celebrate this new chapter for CCRI and the students who will benefit from her leadership.
Update: Full November SNAP benefits are finally going out. This is terrific news, but also proves that the Trump administration lied to people. They could have done this all along, even though they claimed they couldn’t. Outrageous!
Speaker Johnson has kept Republicans on vacation for 49 days during the longest government shutdown in history.
No Speaker should be able to do this.
I am cosponsoring a new bill from Rep Larson to allow a majority of Members to force the House to reconvene.
House Republicans have been on vacation for 49 days.
The government is shut down and health care costs are exploding.
Cancel the vacation, and let's get back to Washington. We have work to do.
Today I met with the SEIU1199 NE leadership team to discuss the Republican health care crisis, and why it is essential that the federal budget includes adequate funding so that patients can afford care and health care workers can be fairly compensated.
Speaker Pelosi will be remembered as one of our country’s greatest leaders.
Because of her, millions have access to health care, our economy recovered from financial crisis & our democracy survived foreign & domestic attacks.
It has been an honor to serve with & learn from her.
Sarah from Cranston is one countless Rhode Islanders whose health insurance costs are doubling.
This is why the federal budget must include Affordable Care Act funding - real people are impacted.
House Republicans have been on vacation for 48 days.
The government is shut down and health care costs are exploding.
Cancel the vacation, and let's get back to Washington. We have work to do.
Join us for the 2nd Annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast & Legislative Update on Mon, Nov. 10 from 8:30–11 AM!

PBN: “HealthSource RI enrollees could see monthly insurance premiums double next year.”
Since open enrollment began this week, I have heard from Rhode Islanders whose premiums are jumping by thousands of dollars.
Any agreement to reopen the government must save health care.
Trump is using hunger as a political weapon, depriving 40 million Americans – most of them children and the elderly – of SNAP benefits in defiance of a court order.
It is horrific that a President would give $40 billion to Argentina while depriving his own citizens of food.
Law enforcement officers risk their lives to protect ours. They deserve the best equipment - including for the smallest officers!
Cranston just received 4 new K-9 fleet vehicles, paid for by a grant I was honored to secure, so patrol and therapy dogs can keep RIers safe. 🐾🚔
Small businesses rely on Affordable Care Act tax credits to afford health insurance for their employees.
If Congress lets them expire, small businesses and workers in RI will pay the price. Speaker Johnson must call the House back into session and extend the tax credits now.
