Great day connecting with the team from Bridges Outreach in Newark, the Alzheimer’s Association, Whole Spectrum Autism, and the American Friends Service Committee.
Powerful insights on the unhoused, those with autism, medical research, and immigration that power our work. Every. Single. Day.

Another constituent has been admitted to one of our service academies, this time the Air Force Academy! It was an honor to call him to share the good news and thank him for wanting to serve our country.
Building resilient infrastructure must not come at the cost of public health. That’s why I’m opposed to the construction of another fossil-fueled power station in the Ironbound and urging PVSC to seek an alternative solution. Read my letter below 👇
Targeting @govmurphy.bsky.social is simply a distraction from the harm this administration is causing to communities across the country. We will continue to fight back every single day.
Alina Habba continues to push the Trump Administration’s false narrative that they are only deporting criminals. We’ve seen them go after people like Adriana, a torture victim with legal protections to stay in this country.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in today’s Jersey City Half and Full Marathons!
It was fun to get the kids out there to cheer everyone on, especially our favorite runner!
Thanks to the organizers and hope everyone gets some rest!
Great to see the @americanbar.org President in DC last week! I was proud to read Bill's powerful statement on the House Floor, and I will continue to stand alongside him in support of our federal judiciary. You can watch the speech below 👇
Happy Passover to all who celebrate! May the season ahead bring peace and joy to our families and our community. Chag Sameach!
The whole team was out this morning - kiddos included - to support our constituents.
📍With Asw. Pintor Marin for a Passport Clinic in Newark!
📍In Harrison for the county’s Hunger Free program.
Stay dry and warm out there and as always, our office is here to serve you. Call us at (201) 309-0301!
Yesterday’s crash was a heartbreaking tragedy. Since taking office, we’ve heard from our constituents and have been sounding the alarms about non-essential helicopters. Today, I spoke with NJ Spotlight about the work we’ve done and what we can do moving forward to prevent this from happening again.
Today was a tragic day in the district. The loss of six lives is horrific. We are working with all levels of government including the NTSB and will continue to do so.
This is also a painful reminder of the work that remains to keep our communities and skies safe. I’m committed to seeing it through.
Devastated to hear of a helicopter crash in the Hudson near Jersey City. Our team is prepared to assist and will continue to provide updates. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and anyone impacted by this incident. Grateful as always for the brave first responders who are on scene.
House Republicans make it seem like they are against cutting funding for healthcare and benefits for seniors but fold like a cheap tent from Temu every time. All lip service, no spine. These proposed cuts will hurt so many Americans, which is why I was a hard NO on today’s vote. The fight continues.
Recently married and changed your name? No passport? Can’t find your birth certificate? House Rs passed a bill to take away your right to vote. This doesn’t make our elections more secure. It makes it more difficult and costly for Americans to participate in our elections. That’s why I voted NO.

Jennifer, the @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social
stands with you. We demand that the Trump administration correct this wrong and bring Kilmar home ✊🏽 #kilmarabregogarcia
Do you believe banks should charge excessive overdraft fees — even if you're just a few dollars short? I don’t, which is why I voted against House Republicans' attempt to undo protections put in place by the Biden Administration. The fight continues, and House Dems will continue to be on your side.
We have so many challenges as a nation that we need to take on - together. But today’s hearing was another example of the GOP’s refusal to call out the immense harm that Trump is causing to our country. If Rs are going to sit idly by as if these are normal times, we will call them out. Watch below 👇
Every day I’m fighting against Trump’s harmful immigration policies. The results of which have already had dire consequences in our district. That’s why I’m moved to speak out against the potential harm of another private detention center opening in the 8th. Read my letter to Union County below 👇
The U.S. has long been a leader in global public health, and we should all be fighting to keep it that way. On #WorldHealthDay, we honor the people who make this possible—and recommit ourselves to the fight against those who seek to undermine it. Public health deserves protection, not attack.
