📍Thea Energy in Kearny ⚡ Great to visit Thea after they just received nearly $20M in federal funding to continue to advance clean fusion power. Inspired by their work to shape our clean energy future right here in our district! 🌎
BAYONNE IS GOING TO WILLIAMSPORT!! What an unbelievable accomplishment for the Bayonne 12U Little League Team. You’ve made Bayonne, Hudson County, and all of New Jersey proud. Congratulations to the entire team and their families, we can’t wait to cheer you on in Williamsport!! 🏆
📍Celebrating Hudson County’s Puerto Rican Community 🇵🇷 Puerto Ricans are part of the great cultural fabric of Hudson County. I joined County Executive Craig Guy and Hudson County for this year’s Puerto Rican flag raising in Jersey City. Proud to celebrate Puerto Ricans here and on the island!
📍Dominican Republic Flag Raising in Hudson County 🇩🇴 Celebrated our Dominican community ahead of Restoration Day! It’s a privilege to honor the vibrant cultural influence of our Dominican friends and neighbors. 🫶
Yesterday, I joined @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and @repanalilia.bsky.social to hear the heartbreaking stories of families whose loved ones have been held at Delaney Hall and EDC, some of whom died as a result of ICE's inhumane policies.
Before the Hoboken Public Library undergoes exciting renovations this week, we stopped by for a sneak peek! 👀 Huge thanks to Director Jennie Pu for showing us what’s next for this amazing space. 📚
Thank you to Terry Hill for your years of unwavering dedication to the Jersey City Free Public Library. Our communities are stronger because of your service - wishing you all the best.
📍 Annual Hunger Doesn't Take a Vacation event at St. Joseph Social Service Center in Elizabeth 🤝 Thankful for Assemblywoman Quijano and all of the volunteers who came together to support our neighbors. Community is how we keep community strong. ❤️
📍La Festa Italiana in Jersey City 🇮🇹 Grateful to be with friends and neighbors (before the storm!) celebrating one of JC’s best traditions! Thank you to all of the organizers, vendors and performers who make this event possible!
📍Honoring our veterans on Purple Heart Day 💜 It was a privilege to be with our Jersey City veterans this morning to express my gratitude to those who have served our country. Your bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten. If you need help with your VA benefits, call us at (201) 309-0301.
We sounded the alarm before these tragic deaths, but ICE chose to ignore us. The inhumane conditions and severe medical neglect inside Delaney Hall are unconscionable. Delaney Hall must be shut down, and every individual inside must be released.
The inhumane conditions at Delaney Hall have caused needless suffering and preventable harm for far too long. We're demanding immediate action and accountability from DHS, the release of all vulnerable individuals, and the permanent closure of Delaney Hall.
61 years ago, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law to end racist barriers at the ballot box. Now, Republicans are trying to pass legislation that would disenfranchise voters in yet another blatant attempt to interfere in our elections.
