I will always defend constitutional rights and demand transparency and accountability.
On Friday I joined community members who came together for the ICE Out protest in response to the horrific Lindenwold ICE raid. In South Jersey and across the country a few things are true: we stand with our neighbors against bullies and no one is above the law.
Today, the farm continues that legacy as a vibrant community center, bringing neighbors together and proving that history lives on right here at home. #BlackHistoryMonth
Located in Cherry Hill, Croft Farms carries a powerful legacy of courage and community. Once a station on the Underground Railroad, it was owned by abolitionists who helped enslaved people seek freedom.
Black history is American history. And so much of it runs through South Jersey. Throughout #BlackHistoryMonth, I’ll be highlighting the people and places in our district that helped move our country forward. ⬇️
ICE needs to come forward and be transparent about what happened and why. Our families deserve answers.
What happened in Lindenwold on Friday is deeply disturbing and goes against our South Jersey values.
Our children are not criminals, and when students have to run away in fear from federal agents, something is wrong.
Today, families across South Jersey are observing Ash Wednesday and beginning the season of Lent. Wishing all who observe a meaningful season of reflection, service, and renewal.
Ramadan Mubarak to all those observing in South Jersey. May this month be filled with reflection, prayer, compassion, and peace for you and your loved ones.
Join me tomorrow evening at 4:30pm for a Legal Observer Information Session to learn how to document ICE agent conduct and help protect First Amendment rights. Scan the QR code or click here to sign up: ushr.zoomgov.com/webinar/regi...
Working with our local partners, I secured nearly $12M in Community Project Funding for South Jersey!
Community Project Funding allows Members of Congress to work directly with local leaders to ensure the needs of our congressional district are being met.
This Presidents’ Day, I am thinking about the words of one of our Founding Fathers, George Washington: “The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.”
It is the duty of our President to uphold the Constitution and its values on which our country was founded.
No matter your Valentine’s Day plans, one thing is certain: in Trump’s America, everything is more expensive and working families are paying the price.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Nobody working full time
Should struggle to make do.💪
I’m fighting to raise the federal minimum wage so every worker earns a fair day’s pay for a hard days work.
We are building the next generation of skilled, safety-first technicians right here at home, creating more pathways to good-paying jobs.
Today, I delivered $850K for Camden County College to develop and expand their electric vehicle technician training facility. As NJ transitions to having more EVs on our roads, we must ensure student technicians are trained to the highest safety standards.
We are building the next generation of skilled, safety-first technicians right here at home, creating more pathways to good-paying jobs.
Let me be clear: our community will not be terrorized, and we will keep fighting to protect our neighborhoods.
I am pushing for reforms, including body cameras for ICE agents, pursuing the impeachment of Secretary Kristi Noem, and rebuilding ICE so it operates transparently, lawfully, and with respect for civil rights.
It is extremely concerning that 911 was called. No federal agency is above the law and any effort to undermine constitutional rights or mislead law enforcement erodes public trust. There must be real accountability.
