What are House Republicans focused on this week?
Commercial freezers and walk-in refrigerators.
Seriously.
Back in D.C. & the first bill House Republicans are pursuing?
Imposing new responsibilities on the Department of Education — the very agency they’re trying to destroy.
Make it make sense 🤷🏽♂️
If you read one article today, make it this one.
Total incompetence, yet again. And putting our national security at great risk.
Engaging constituents directly is a critical part of my job which is why I’ve made holding regular town halls a top priority. Some highlights below from my visit to the Western Slope & town hall in Louisville — our sixth this year and the 100th town hall I’ve held as your representative!
Deeply grateful to the thousands of constituents who attended our events yesterday — including our morning town hall in Summit County & our afternoon town-hall with Senator Bennet in Louisville. I continue to be so inspired by countless citizens speaking out and participating in our democracy!
Excited to be back in Western Colorado this morning for our town hall — and grateful to the many folks willing to take time out of an incredible powder day in Summit County to engage in our democracy!
Today, we remember and honor the 10 members of our community whom we tragically lost four years ago.
Officer Talley, Teri, Kevin, Suzanne, Jody, Denny, Neven, Lynn, Rikki, and Tralona.
May we continue to keep them in our hearts and at the forefront of our minds – always. #BoulderStrong💙
Deeply proud of our work together to deliver real results for the people of Colorado — our team will continue to roll up our sleeves and get it done!
🏔️🏔️🏔️
I’m proud to represent Colorado’s Western Slope — and excited to host the first town-hall of the year west of the continental divide.
See you there!

On today’s Democratic Daily Download, I covered Trump’s Executive Order to dismantle the Department of Education—paving the way for Republicans to slash support for students, teachers, and schools.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social will fight this every step of the way.
The scheme that House Republicans have proposed to dismantle Medicaid would have devastating impacts in Colorado — from rural hospitals to kids receiving health care, and more.
It must be rejected.
Proud to stand with @govofco.bsky.social this morning to oppose the largest Medicaid cut in American history—and to fight on behalf of the many Coloradans who rely on this vital lifeline for healthcare!
Jeanette Vizguerra is a grandmother & hard-working member of our community, whose detention — without due process — should shock the conscience of every Coloradan.
In 2025, we’ve already hosted 4 Town Halls — in Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Nederland.
And we’re just getting started!
Next up 👉🏾 Western Slope and Boulder County Town Halls on March 22nd. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Raúl Grijalva.
Raul’s lifelong dedication to serving the American people and protecting our
environment will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
We will miss him dearly.
Rest in power.
President Trump’s Commerce Secretary has declared their economic policies “worth it,” even if they lead to a recession.
Why?
Because the havoc they’re creating won’t impact the billionaires in Trump’s cabinet.
House Democrats will stand up for working Americans. Always.
As the lead Democrat on the Federal Lands Subcommittee, I’m working to push back against the Trump administration’s attempt to rollback critical protections for our public lands. An update with @vetvoicefoundation.bsky.social below 👇🏽

When the Trump administration announced it would close social security offices across the country, many Republicans applauded it.
But when the closures impact their districts . . . now they’re concerned?

House Republicans’ partisan spending bill threatens to cut funding for healthcare, veterans benefits and more.
I voted no.
