Congress must stand up for Epstein’s victims, not protect his rich and powerful friends.
@pressley.house.gov is demanding a public Oversight hearing to give these survivors the opportunity to share their stories with the American people.
🚨I'm leading @oversightdemocrats.house.gov calling for a hearing to let survivors of Epstein's abuse testify before Congress.
For those who wish to speak up, we cannot meet their courage with inaction.
This is crucial to getting the healing, transparency & accountability survivors deserve.

‘They deserve this transparency’: Rep. Ayanna Pressley calls for hearing with Epstein survivors 19thnews.org/2025/08/demo... via @19thnews.org
60 years ago, after generations organized, marched & bled, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law.
Now, Republicans in Texas & nationwide are carrying out an undemocratic assault on the sacred right to vote.
We must keep working to protect & expand access to the ballot box.
Donald Trump promised to make IVF available to all.
That was a bold-faced lie.
Instead, he's ripping away healthcare from millions and turning his back on people who want to grow their families.
BREAKING: The Oversight Committee has officially issued the Epstein Files subpoena we helped pass.
The subpoena is clear and airtight: the Trump DOJ must release the files by August 19.
As a survivor, I'll never stop fighting for healing, transparency, and accountability.
Abortion care is essential healthcare.
Thank you to the folks at Intersections of Our Lives for sharing their deeply personal stories and for honoring me with their Champion Award.
I'm so grateful for your partnership in the movement for reproductive justice.
This was another shameful attempt at erasing history by the twice-impeached occupant of the White House.
The Smithsonian should NOT be caving to appease Trump's fragile ego.
And Trump should take his grubby little hands off our Smithsonian museums.
Let me get this straight:
—First Trump tanks the economy.
—The data confirms that he's tanking the economy.
—Then Trump fires the nonpartisan official who put out that data so he can hide the fact that he's tanking the economy.
This is what dictators with fragile egos do.
During Black August we honor Black freedom fighters & continue their work for our collective liberation.
That includes defending Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to ensure opportunities for all of us.
And it means advancing an affirmative vision for a more just America where everyone can thrive.
Hey family! My team is hiring a Staff Assistant for our district office in Boston.

Direct File was a free, easy option for folks to file their taxes online with the IRS.
It was popular, impactful, & accessible—so of course the Trump Administration had to kill it.
This is another shameful giveaway to giant corporations like TurboTax that rip our families off.
60 years ago, Medicaid & Medicare were signed into law, allowing folks in the #MA7 & nationwide to access high-quality, affordable healthcare.
With Republicans making the largest cuts to healthcare in our history, I'll keep fighting to protect & expand these lifesaving programs.
The Trump Administration is making it easier for polluters to pollute our communities and destroy our planet.
This is dangerous and shameful.
They are literally putting the profits of big corporations over the health and wellbeing of our people and our planet.
With Republicans banning books nationwide, I'm grateful for local bookstores preserving underrepresented voices in literature.
The freedom to pursue boundless knowledge must remain just that: a freedom.
Thank you to @allshewrotebks.bsky.social in Somerville for letting me drop by.
Fare free transit is an economic, racial, & climate justice issue, and it's high time we invest in public transit as the public good that it is.
I'm reintroducing the Freedom to Move Act with @markey.senate.gov to close transit equity gaps and make our communities more connected.
Thank you @lynch.house.gov & @moulton.house.gov for leading this letter with me and our colleagues Congressman Richard Neal, @keating.house.gov, @whipkclark.bsky.social, @repmcgovern.bsky.social, @trahan.house.gov, & @repauchincloss.bsky.social for your partnership.
