If you or someone you know is experiencing sexual assault or harassment, you are not alone. Please call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-4673.
Trump's DOJ has yet to comply with the law, but we're not letting up the pressure. We are going to get justice for the 1,000+ girls and women abused by him and his ring of conspirators.
April is also Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This fall, I was proud to vote nearly unanimously with my colleagues to force the Department of Justice to release all files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
This week, Trump threatened to kill everyone in Iran. That is a war crime, and we must not allow Trump to normalize it.
We can not let this be who we are as a country.
I'm also calling for an independent mental health assessment of the President. We can't be living on thin ice while the leader of the free world threatens to kill an entire country. This is not a stable individual.
Let me be absolutely clear: the Cabinet must invoke the 25th amendment and Congress must begin impeachment proceedings to remove Trump from office. With this 'ceasefire,' Trump's trying to take credit for fixing a problem he caused. There's no telling if this war will be over any time soon.
Five weeks into Trump's war with Iran and we are still left asking: What was this for? 13 service members killed, 200 more injured, and billions of taxpayer dollars spent—all for the United States to be in a worse negotiating position than before.
More below.
I'm officially calling for the Cabinet to remove Trump from office under the 25th Amendment. If they can't, Congress must return from recess today and begin impeachment proceedings.

The economy is in shambles, House Republicans have still not agreed to the common-sense DHS deal, and now the President is threatening to "kill a whole civilization" in Iran.
Speaker Johnson, please call the House back into session. The world can not wait till Tuesday!
With this Secretary of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security posting Bible verses, the Trump administration is trying to make America look like the exclusionary extremists we claim to be against.
One thing I’m very passionate about is the separation of Church and State.
Pete Hegseth has said our service members are fighting Iran “in the name of Jesus Christ.” Religion is important to many Americans, but America was not founded on one religion.
The President just posted that "a whole civilization will die tonight" if Iran does not comply. After entering a war no one wanted, Trump is threatening mass murder.
I'm urging every Cabinet Member and Republican leaders to call the President IMMEDIATELY. The Iranian people do not deserve this.
Diversity is America’s strength, not our weakness. In the face of racism, islamophobia, and antisemitism, we must stick up for our fellow Americans. Please join me in wishing everyone a Happy Arab American Heritage Month!
April is Arab American Heritage Month—a time when we celebrate the history and contributions of people of Arab descent.
Just like we can’t have members of Congress profiting from their positions, we also can’t have Cabinet Members profiting off our troops. That’s why I’m supporting @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social in their investigation to see if Hegseth is using non-public information to pad his pockets.
Right before the start of the Iran war, Pete Hegseth’s financial advisor spoke to #BlackRock about a multi-million dollar investment in a Defense ETF, covering armsmakers like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
I recently joined the Rally Against Peoples Gas because #utility companies are raising rates on Chicagoans—even though their executives are getting big bonuses.
We need to stop this and bring down energy prices⚡️🔋

Happy Easter!🥚 🐰
Wishing everyone celebrating a day of peace, renewal, and joy.
The day after Trump's speech, gas prices rose 15 cents per gallon across the country.
Americans can't afford that price at the pump. The President needs to pull out of this war and stabilize the global economy and oil trade.
