Always great to meet constituents on the run! 🏃♂️
I had the chance to connect with Alex from Indio, who works with Rudy’s Pest Control. I love hearing stories from hardworking folks who keep our region moving forward. I fight for him and his family so he can give his kids big opportunities in life.q

I met with Training Occupational Development Educating Communities, TODEC, a vital organization that empowers our community by providing critical resources.
Their work protects small businesses & ensures that everyone has the tools they need to thrive.
I met with farmers from California’s 25th Congressional District to address their biggest concerns.
We discussed how important it is to incentivize buying homegrown products so our families can keep enjoying fresh, local food while supporting the growers who make it possible.
Nothing brings people together like good food, and Mr. Taco Uná Mas in Beaumont knows how to deliver!
From the flavors to the community spirit, local spots like this remind us why supporting small businesses tastes so good. #SupportLocalBusiness
Proyecto FoodBox está luchando contra el hambre y los problemas de salud al entregar productos frescos adaptados a las necesidades de cada persona, ya sea diabetes, enfermedades del corazón u otras condiciones.
Sher and I discussed how small businesses are adapting as the Trump administration moves forward with cuts to the Small Business Administration.
My office is committed to working with our local partners because small businesses are at the heart of our local economy. #SupportLocalBusiness
I had the chance to speak with Kevin, former Director of the Hemet San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce, about the importance of beautifying our community & bringing more family-friendly entertainment to the region. I want to thank him for his dedication & service to the Hemet–San Jacinto Valley.
When the Navy tells you to drop and give them 20… you do the 20 push-ups. 💪🇺🇸
Had a great time connecting with our servicemembers and supporters. Grateful for their service and for giving me a little workout along the way!
While in Hemet, I met with members of the Hemet Teachers Association to talk about the
importance of bringing more resources to our local schools. Our teachers are on the frontlines of shaping the future, and they deserve the tools and support necessary to help every student thrive.
Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are promises & essential for Americans. But President Trump & Republicans have passed their Big Ugly Law, with no sign of lower costs for the people.
Their agenda: put the billionaires first, and if that comes at higher costs for everyone else, so be it.
At Project FoodBox in Brawley, I spoke with Sarah, from the Imperial Valley Food Bank, about
how the Big Ugly Law threatens critical funding for food banks.
I remain committed to protecting resources that keep food on the table for the families of #CA25.
While I was in Hemet, I ran into Kathy from the Hemet Public Library. We chatted about the resources available to the community from books to learning programs. Stop by the Hemet Public Library if you haven’t already!
Steve and I discussed how Project FoodBox’s work is making a difference for families, local growers, and our regional economy.
Project FoodBox not only
helps fight hunger but also supports our growers, keeps individuals healthy, and strengthens our local economy
I met with Brandon, President of the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce
to discuss efforts to create new job opportunities for our
communities’ youth. Building pathways for to good-paying jobs is key to strengthening our local
economy.
Wishing our students, teachers, and parents a great start to the school year! As a proud dad of
twins starting elementary school, I know how exciting, and a little hectic, this week can be.
Here’s to a year full of learning, growth, and new adventures all across #CA25!
Republicans will continue to look for ways to break Medicaid, Medicare, & the Affordable Care Act to free up billions in tax breaks for billionaires.
15 million Americans will lose health care under the Big Ugly Law, which cuts over $1 trillion from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.
I had a great time joining Nacho Bustillos on the #NachosConTodo Podcast to share my journey—from growing up in Coachella to serving you in Congress. Grateful for the chance to talk about my roots, my passion for helping people, and why I’m so committed to our communities across #CA25
I joined growers, advocates, and community partners in the Imperial Valley to discuss Project FoodBox, an effort connecting leftover produce from our farms to families in need.
In a region that grows so much of our nation’s food, no one should go hungry. #FarmToCommunity
