I met with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) leaders to discuss the local impacts that GOP proposed cuts to Medi-Cal would have for the people in our communities. They manage nearly 90% of all Medi-Cal patients in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Hardworking Americans will pay the price for Trump’s tariffs, as economists warn we will face $3,000 in added costs each year. That means our groceries, gas, and other necessities will cost $3,000 more at a time when families are already struggling to pay the bills. This is unacceptable.
Great meeting with constituents from the California Retired Teachers Association throughout my district from #HemetCA to #BrawleyCA to discuss threats to the Social Security Administration and the Dept. of Education. I’m proud to support our retirees by protecting Social Security from harmful cuts.
#TeamRuiz was in #BlytheCA for our mobile office hours kickoff! My team and I are committed to providing the best constituent services by bringing them directly to you.   For more information about upcoming mobile office hours in #BeaumontCA, #NilandCA, and #NeedlesCA, call 760-424-8888.
From farming to economic growth, I want to hear about the issues that matter most to you. That’s why I was grateful to meet w/ constituents from the #ImperialValley to discuss support for CA Sugar Beet Growers. Together, we’re working to strengthen our agricultural industry & support our farmers.
Today is #CesarChavezDay! As the son of farmworkers from Coachella, the site of the first successful UFW labor contract, I’m proud to reintroduce the César E. Chávez & the Farmworker Movement Nat'l Historical Park Act to honor the legacy of César Chávez & the contributions of farmworkers to the US.
I always enjoy welcoming constituents from across #CA25 to the People’s House in our nation’s capital. My office is your office! It’s the People’s Office! Listening to your concerns and discussing the issues that matter most to you is the best part of my day.
During my time on the House @naturalresources.bsky.social, I had the honor of working with him on environmental and tribal policy, and he always supported my leadership on the Salton Sea. He even visited our district to meet with Lithium Valley leaders, environmental advocates, & tribal communities.
If you’re facing difficulties with the Social Security Administration, please don’t hesitate to call my office. I want to hear about your experience so I can advocate for you and fight back against these harmful actions. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
With all the chaos, funding freezes, and massive layoffs, real people are struggling. My top priority is helping my constituents and defending the essential services that improve your lives. Social Security is a lifeline for many seniors who are struggling to make ends meet.
It was a pleasure to join the Imperial County Transportation Commission to celebrate its groundbreaking—an important step toward improving mobility and passenger safety, increasing ridership, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and revitalizing the Calexico Downtown Business District.
