I stand with all those across the world who do not want another endless war. Netanyahu & Trump are warmongers. It is the people who suffer the illegal & irresponsible actions of authoritarian leaders. Only Congress has the power to declare war. We must act to protect our safety & shared humanity.
Our country and our democracy is strongest when workers are protected. I will always stand with our friends in labor to advance and defend worker rights. #UnionStrong
Let's build a future where every voice is heard, every person is treated with respect, and every barrier for our working families is torn down.
If we miss you on Saturday, we hope to see you on the campaign trail!
At a time when the GOP is vilifying our communities and consolidating power behind this fascist administration, I refuse to stay silent. I am fueled by a deep, unshakable commitment to justice, equality, and compassion.
This Saturday I am officially launching my re-election campaign for Congress. I hope you will join me in this people-powered movement!
They don’t want oversight. They don’t want accountability. They don’t want you to see how they are violating people's constitutional rights, but we will not stop demanding answers until we get them.
The immigration policy of Donald Trump is to work in the shadows so they can violate our rights. We don’t know where our community members are being held or in what conditions they are surviving in. Four members of Congress were unlawfully turned away during our oversight visit to Broadview today.
No more endless wars so that military contractors can line their pockets. Period.

Congressional oversight is not optional, it's our authority and responsibility as members of Congress. We stood outside of the Broadview detention center for over an hour and were unlawfully denied entry. If this is how they treat us, how are they treating the individuals being detained here?
When I say the Trump administration's corruption should piss us off, I mean it. Their "gold card" immigration proposal isn't just misguided, it's a deceptive and deeply corrupt scheme designed to undermine our values. We need to expose these #BOLDTruth and hold those responsible accountable.

Despite bipartisan support, inaction from Congress and fear-fueled politics continue to move us back, not forward. This is unacceptable. Dreamers deserve a pathway to citizenship in the only country they've ever called home, and I won't stop fighting until that right is delivered.
Yesterday was the 13th anniversary of DACA. As we commemorate this milestone amid ongoing attacks on our immigrant communities, we must remember this: DACA was never the solution; it was a temporary fix to a broken immigration system. It gave Dreamers a lifeline, not a permanent future.
Today, we celebrate not just your love, but your legacy. Happy Father’s Day!
Happy Father's Day to everyone celebrating today. I especially acknowledge our immigrant dads, like my father, who left everything behind to give us everything ahead. Your strength, sacrifice, and hustle built the foundation we stand on.
It is always my honor to march in the annual Puerto Rican People's Parade in Humboldt Park. Today we celebrate with pride and joy the beauty, power, and resiliency of the Puerto Rican community in Chicago.
In the face of those who weaponize fear, normalize cruelty, and justify violence, we must choose to love one another, protect each other, and honor our shared humanity.
Last night's politically motivated violence is a direct consequence of those in the highest seats of power irresponsibly stoking division and fomenting hate against political opponents.
