Why is Donald Trump in the Gulf again? Because that's where the money is. For himself and his family.
He and his kids are making lucrative private deals and getting lavish gifts from gulf Emirs - and taxpayers are left holding the bag.

We can’t keep our country safe if intelligence analysts are pressured to lie to keep their jobs.
Anyone who has worked on intelligence matters understands the importance of apolitical analysis and speaking truth to power.
In firing intel officials who did just that, Gabbard proved once again that she is unfit for her position.
At a time when farmers are at grave risk of bearing the brunt of Trump’s tariffs and funding freezes, DOGE is trying to shutdown USDA offices across California — the largest agriculture producing state in the nation.
I’m leading an effort to reverse these harmful closures.
Hosting Californians for a morning coffee and Q&A here in the Capitol.
Grateful, as always, to serve you and hear your hopes, thoughts, and concerns.
Trump cares about one thing, and one thing only.
Deals to make himself richer.
Make his family richer. Make his billionaire friends richer.
And he is succeeding. Big time.
The art of the deal indeed.
That’s the "art of the deal" with this President.
He gets rich. You get screwed.
Over and over and over again. With shady deals, quid pro quos, massive gifts, you name it.
And of course, at number 1, the meme coin.
Effectively posting his Venmo account online – inviting cash payments from whoever needs to buy influence.
The single most corrupt, self-serving act of any President in American history.
At number 2 – the 747.
A nearly half a billion dollar "gift" requiring costly taxpayer-funded upgrades and retrofitting.
That Trump then gets to keep. For his personal use.
At number 3 – Starlink deals for tariff relief.
Elon Musk has his proximity to Trump to negotiate a whole raft of Starlink deals with countries desperate to get out from under tariffs.
To the point where official cables essentially lay out the quid pro quo. Corruption of the highest order.
At number 4 - Saudi Projects galore.
Remember when Jared Kushner got a $2 billion investment from the Saudis after Trump left office the first time?
Well the Trump Organization is back in Saudi – and just announced three brand new projects.
At number 5 – A new golf course in Doha.
A $5.5B deal to build some new links – more hundreds of millions in cash for the Trump family and organization from a foreign government that wants to buy favor.
At number 6 – A brand new Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai.
Cash from the UAE, directly going into the pockets of Trump and his family.
At number 7 — the Private Club:
The Trump sons are opening an exclusive club here in Washington, D.C. called “The Executive Branch.” I wish I was kidding.
If you want to get in good with the Trumps, you’ve gotta pay the cover fee. Memberships start at only $500,000.
At number 8 – Melania's new documentary.
Amazon spending $40 million on licensing fees that go to the Trump family.
Then turning around and selling $10M "sponsorships" to their billionaire friends just to get in good with the Trump family.
At number 9 – Spending your tax payer dollars on golfing vacations. And charging you for all of his staff and their stays at the Trump clubs.
Among all the chips, shanks, and missed putts...
Your wallet is what's taking the hardest hit.
At number 10 – Donald Trump and Elon Musk turning the White House Lawn into a Tesla showroom.
As repayment?
A $100,000,000 gift from Elon to Donald Trump's personal political apparatus.
I just left the Senate floor, where I laid out Trump's real "Art of the Deal."
For himself.
Here are Donald Trump's 10 most outrageous displays of corruption yet.
🧵
Why is Donald Trump in the Gulf right now?
Because that's where the money is.
Whether it's crypto schemes, Trump Towers, or 747s – it's all about how he can line his own pockets.
Qatar's gift of a plane to Donald Trump is corruption on display – and almost certainly illegal.
It also raises serious national security concerns.
I'm demanding an inquiry into the Department of Defense’s involvement in facilitating the transfer of this gift.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
