On Wednesday, a shooter killed two children and wounded 18 other victims at the church in Minneapolis. In 2022, an attack at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killed 19 students and two teachers.

There are 400 million guns in this country. More guns than people. In America, we are ten times more likely to be shot in a school or playground than any other developed nation.

I dare you to go to Annunciation School and tell our grieving community, in effect, guns don’t kill kids, antidepressants do. Just shut up. Stop peddling bullshit. You should be fired.

I'm continuing to monitor the horrific shooting at Annunciation Catholic School and I'm in close touch with local officials.

Incredibly grateful for the work of the police and first responders in containing the shooter and attending to victims.

This is the most horrific nightmare imaginable for the parents who dropped their children off at the first week back to school.
