Thousands of Pennsylvanians had to give up their healthcare coverage because DC Republicans chose to give their billionaire donors a tax cut by refusing to extend the ACA tax credits that American families rely on. The Senate needs to pass the 3-year extension of the ACA tax credits NOW.
Children are not the "worst of the worst." These letters are heartbreaking. This administration's cruelty has no bounds.
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken. Hundreds of kids are still detained. We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵
Ghislaine Maxwell pleaded the Fifth and refused to provide information because she wants the President to grant her clemency for her silence. All the Epstein files need to be released. The truth must come out. All of it.
BREAKING: Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyer says she's 'prepared to speak fully and honestly' about Jeffrey Epstein's actions if Trump grants her clemency. The House Oversight Committee Chair says that Maxwell refused to answer questions during her virtual deposition with the committee.
I was proud to participate in the groundbreaking for a new main school building on Elwyn’s Media Campus. This new facility will continue Elwyn's longstanding mission of helping people with developmental and behavioral health challenges develop the skills they need to thrive.
I was honored to join community leaders at an interfaith vigil and call to action in Norristown in memory of Renee Good and Alex Pretti after they were brutally shot and killed by rogue federal agents in Minnesota.
Amazon cut 30,000 jobs over the past few months. Republicans' Big Ugly Bill isn't helping workers. They're helping billionaires and big businesses.
Republicans’ tax cuts shaved billions off Amazon’s tax bill, new government filings show. The company says it ran a $1.2 billion tax bill last year, down from $9 billion the previous year — even as its profits jumped by 45 percent to nearly $90 billion. More on Amazon's 87% drop in taxes👇
I joined students and educators from The Solebury School and Friends Select School for a teach-in at the site of the President’s House, where the Trump administration removed displays recounting the history of slavery during George Washington’s time there.
The White House took down the President's Truth Social post featuring a vile and racist depiction of the Obamas. It is not enough. The White House needs to apologize for platforming this abhorrent content.
BREAKING: President Trump removes a racist video depicting the Obamas as apes. The White House initially defended the post, then blamed it on a staffer.
Trump ordered the National Park Service to erase aspects of American History that made him uncomfortable, so the history of George Washington’s use of slave labor has been removed from the President’s House at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
On Rosa Parks' birthday, we honor her contributions to the civil rights movement, which paved the way for securing the rights and liberties of generations of Americans. Her courage should inspire us all to stand up against the injustices we are confronting today.
Republican leaders in Congress should be subpoenaing Kristi Noem and DHS officials to get answers on the use of excessive force and the shooting deaths of American citizens by ICE and CBP agents. Americans are outraged. Why aren't @houserepublicans.bsky.social?
The effects of Trump’s #ReverseRobinHood budget are ALREADY rippling through our community. Starting this month, thousands of families in Philly are beginning to lose their critical SNAP food assistance - while the rich are enjoying huge tax breaks from the same law.
