Congressional Republicans’ refusal to extend the ACA tax credit has already compromised access to healthcare for so many Pennsylvanians. The Senate should pass the House's 3-year extension of the ACA tax credits ASAP! penncapital-star.com/health-care/...
Even though @houserepublicans.bsky.social refused to extend the ACA tax credits, @housedemocrats.bsky.social got it to the floor and passed it today. We can still make healthcare more affordable for millions of Americans. Keep the pressure on!
Instead of calling for an investigation or demanding accountability, the White House immediately tried to spin this tragedy by calling this young mother a domestic terrorist and claiming she had violently attacked ICE agents, despite eyewitness testimony and video footage.
In 5 years, we’ve seen this President and his allies move from urging Americans to commit violence against our government to using government agents to commit violence against Americans: trying to silence anyone who questions this White House or the legality of its dangerous agenda.
An ICE agent shot and killed a 37-year-old American citizen in Minneapolis today, further evidence that DHS's lawless and brutal tactics are not making Americans safer. Statements from the Trump administration seeking to justify the killing are directly contradicted by video & eyewitness testimony.
The truth matters. Those who deny the horrific violence and lawlessness that inspired the attack on the Capitol want the American people to forget. They don’t want you to question their power or hold them accountable. But we must remember.
Americans do not want the United States to “run” Venezuela - and neither do Venezuelans. Americans don’t want to pay for this power grab or another forever war. They want a government that works for them, not to enrich the oil industry.  The American people deserve better.
